Come to think about it, you are probably right. It probably is better for them to have everyone talking about some unknown congressman's idocy than to be inquiring as to how they plan to pay for this POS or how they are going to decide who gets care and who doesn't or how they are going to get good care providers to become government employees.

Of course there would be higher support than the population of all, including watchers and non watchers, but not of course that the watchers would have higher support after watching than before.

The GOP has a definite positive trend right now, particularly if you include GOP-leaning independents (currently 45% D 40% R according to Gallup), but there's been a fairly large disparity between the numbers of people who identify democrat and republican for a fairly long time

When you have more Dems than anyone else watching, there's going to be an obvious skewing of the numbers. It's nothing but spin.
