Joe Wilson Hands Obama Big Victory

Last nights speech could not have gone better for Obama. His salesmanship, as usual, was spot on. It was his most substantive communication on health care. And Joe Wilson literally handed him a victory by his outrageous, petty and crude behaviour.
Delusions of adequacy.

I thought Perz Doofus, Dingy Harry, Bella Pelosi, and the rest of the DAs wanted to keep the focus on reforming healthcare. If that is so, how is
it advantageous to them for everyone to be talking about some idiot named Wilson.

.

It permits these "community organizers" to deflect the issue in an effort to avoid their own failed efforts to disguise this plan as being "rational" and in the interests of the American people even while the American people are rejecting their plan.

:rofl

The title of the thread indicates it is about Joe Wilson (whoever the hell he is) handing something to Prez Doofus. ;)

.

He's the guy everyone is talking about for being a classless fool.

You really don't know, do you?
Maybe you could explain how it is good to get them off their message, unless the message itself is toxic.

Come to think about it, you are probably right. It probably is better for them to have everyone talking about some unknown congressman's idocy than to be inquiring as to how they plan to pay for this POS or how they are going to decide who gets care and who doesn't or how they are going to get good care providers to become government employees.

.

Exactly. Thats how it works.

CNN admits that more Dems were watching than anyone else. So, of course there's going to be an increase in support. Therefore, the numbers are skewed.

No, not of course there would be an increase in support.
Of course there would be higher support than the population of all, including watchers and non watchers, but not of course that the watchers would have higher support after watching than before.

You have got to be kidding right? By the way, that fake poll was extremely weighted towards Democrats and Obama supporters than it was scientific. Hardly scientific by any stretch; but it is understandable when you see the mainstream media carrying water for this pathetic "post turtle" even to the farcical extent to write stories that the recession is over.

You just can't fabricate the level of denial, lies and distortions it takes to be Liberal these days.

CBS Poll: As is often the case in Presidential addresses, Americans who watched the speech tonight were more likely to be from the President’s political party – 38% were Democrats, 26% were Republicans and 36% were independents.

CNN of course won’t share the specifics of their poll because they know they would be a laughing stock like CBS who is at least willing to be honest they are carrying water for this pathetic joke of a Presidency and Administration of corrupt dimwitted thugs.

That sample accurately represents the nation's current party affiliation according to Gallup

The GOP has a definite positive trend right now, particularly if you include GOP-leaning independents (currently 45% D 40% R according to Gallup), but there's been a fairly large disparity between the numbers of people who identify democrat and republican for a fairly long time

When you have more Dems than anyone else watching, there's going to be an obvious skewing of the numbers. It's nothing but spin.

In other words, the only way they can get it done is to use diversions to distract the dumbmasses. Gotcha. ;)

It was more than adequate.

For now, it was a game changer.

I think you're right. An important Senate Dem (Ben Nelson) said the speech was a game changer, as well.

And since he's a Democrat, that makes it the gospel?

I'm gonna just go with you don't understand what an increase in support means.

Nope. Quit the strawmen garbage.

It's not gospel, but he's an important Senator in the health care debate.

That's where the "delusion" part comes in.

Do you honestly believe that your personal jabs mean anything? What affect do you really think they have?

Let me tell you, what you are, for clarity's sake.

You remain the third right-leaning poster today who has tried to interject personal insults into this thread by classlessly and lazily, calling me names.

You do not impress me.

Its not a personal jab, its an obervation of your thought process as exhibited in your posts. Your bigoted, partisan cheerleading is just that; the delusion comes in where you think you're engaged in anything other than said cheerleading. The Obama could have completely melted down and you'd be describing his performace the same way you're describing it now.

You do not impress me.
Wow. I know I'll not sleep well tonight. For sure.

I'm gonna just go with you don't understand what an increase in support means.

I'm going to assume that you can't see that the increase in support came from Democrats.

What makes him more important than anyone else?
