Joe Wilson Hands Obama Big Victory

What makes him more important than anyone else?

His status as one of the most conservative members of the Senate Democratic caucus.

It is a personal jab, it is pathetic and it reflects on your seriousness as a poster.
I have explained why you are wrong.
No need for me to do it again.

Last nights speech could not have gone better for Obama. His salesmanship, as usual, was spot on. It was his most substantive communication on health care. And Joe Wilson literally handed him a victory by his outrageous, petty and crude behaviour.

Wilson's behaviour couldn't have been better if it was scripted. The White House was looking for a foil, and I'm sure they are happy to see Wilson step up and volunteer.

To be sure, Wilson's comments themselves really don't matter. But of course, the wackiness of it, the conflict within it, and his "I'm sorry but the Republican leadership made me apologize, apology," is great theater.

The momentum has totally shifted towards Obama according to some polls taken after the speech. Now, I do not know if it will last, because as we all know per the Wilson comment, one small outburst, event, or comment can turn an entire effort into compost.

WOW!:spin::spin::spin:

Joe Wilson said what everyone else already knows: PBO is lying through his teeth when he says that Obamacare won't cover illegals. Unless he plans on giving amnesty to 20 million illegals.

Only those with tin hats there bud.

Only those with tin hats there bud.

Yeah -- it's one slam-dunk 14th Amendment argument away from happening, but no, it's just tin-foil hattery.

He's the guy everyone is talking about for being a classless fool.

Oh really then all of the Democrats must have been a bunch of classless fools back on Feb, 2 2005 during Mr. W Bush State of the Union Address they boo Mr. Bush not once but on many different time's.

Care to comment on that oh that's rights it's alright for the Democrat's to do that but when a Republican speaks the truth about the section on Illegals and calls Mr. Obama on it then the media and Democrats circle the wagon.

It's really too bad that according to the Associated Press's fact check, he still wasn't being honest with the American people on most of the key points.

Handed him a victory? This wasn't a presidential debate, this was supposed to be our president explaining the facts behind his health care proposal.

I can see the headline now...

"Republicans rude interruption hands Obama the win on health care"

You're acting like he was running for office and last night was a campaign speech. This isn't an Obama popularity contest, this is about the issue of health care reform.

Anyone who thinks that a rude public comment, or an ill advised insult or personal attack made by a member of either party, is going to be a deciding factor on how people evaluate the proposed health care reform, are sadly mistaken. Those who believe such a thing, are not only underestimating the American people, they're also insulting them.

Do you have a link to that?

Bravo Scorpdude....here are some clips of the decent behavior of the Democrats:

Notice how they all refuse to get up to cheer for SS reform?

You mean like these classless fools?

President George W. Bush is booed and heckled by Democrats at his 2005 State of the Union address.

If you think one guy speaking out with the truth (Barry is a liar) is going to help the cause of socialized medicine, you are crazier than CBS and CNN combined.

It's because we are all racist.... everyone knows that.

Well, explain it to us, then. Just saying, "oh, it won't happen", doesn't inspire too much confidence.

How about the fact that the leading health care bill itself specifically states that non-citizens cannot participate in the program?

But, it has no way of preventing it. That's the part of the bill that I wanna see.

Every time the Republicans try to include E-Verify into any of these bills, the Democrats, usually unanimously vote it out.

That is why everyone that thinks illegals will be included, do.

I'm sorry but does the OP have an article of some kind to go along with his statement of a "huge victory"?

How LAME. There were plenty of vocalizations by the Republican side just before asswipe yelled out 'You Lie'. No one has said a word about that -- because they are not in the same universe.

Asswipe stepped waaaaaayyyy the f out of line. The guano wingers who are trying lamely to justify/defend his actions can be lumped right in with Garbage Joe.
