ACORN Officials Videotaped Telling 'Pimp,' 'Prostitute' How to Lie to IRS

so it looks like they will be losing funding

It appears that not only does this ACORN worker have no problem with child prostitution, but also hatched a plan, where she murdered her husband and made sure it would be seen as "self defense".

This is getting good... Looking forward to seeing the Obama supporters defend this one.

.

Why would anyone need to defend this? It has nothing to do with Obama.

Senate votes to deny funds to ACORN
The Associated Press: Senate votes to deny funds to ACORN
The Senate voted Monday to block the Housing and Urban Development Department from giving grants to ACORN, a community organization under fire in several voter-registration fraud cases.

The 83-7 vote would deny housing and community grant funding to ACORN
When are those democrats ever going to learn. I'm glad we have a Republican majority in the Senate or this type of measure would never get passed...

If these two are guilty of scamming the poor ACORN employees, why all the firings left and right? :2razz:

I think (if I heard it right) that they are claiming their privacy has been violated.

BTW.... nobody on the right has been fired over this. :2wave:

Here's the video:

Depending on the wiretapping law for New York, it might have been.

The defendants would have their choice of a jury trial.... which way do you think it would go?

BTW.... nobody on the right has been fired over this. :2wave:

Well...I didn't mean it quiet in the left and right political sense...

Bad choice of words on my part. I was simply saying that any ACORN employee caught up in this is being swiftly tossed overboard like a proverbial Jonah.

I have no idea. In any case it doesn't eliminate the possibility of the audio being illegally captured.

Oh...and no "civic" organization that is taking MY tax dollars has a right to any privacy. ;) Their books should be a matter of public record.

Guess I forgot the [/humor]

Those damn right-wingers! - of course they're going to discriminate against your child porn ring!

Senate votes to block ACORN housing funds

"WASHINGTON - The Senate voted Monday to block the Department of Housing and Urban Development from giving grants to ACORN, a community organization under fire most recently after workers in Baltimore were videotaped giving advice on evading tax laws to a couple posing as a pimp and prostitute.

The 83-7 vote would deny housing and community grant funding to ACORN, which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now."

Despite the coverfire from John Conyers they still lost some funding.

I heard they are out of the census as well but not confirmed.

The AP article also said this would have little impact on ACORN as the majority of their funds come from donations, not government grants.

They were eligible to receive billions from the government.
