so it looks like they will be losing funding

Well...I didn't mean it quiet in the left and right political sense...

Bad choice of words on my part. I was simply saying that any ACORN employee caught up in this is being swiftly tossed overboard like a proverbial Jonah.

I have no idea. In any case it doesn't eliminate the possibility of the audio being illegally captured.

Oh...and no "civic" organization that is taking MY tax dollars has a right to any privacy. ;) Their books should be a matter of public record.

I heard they are out of the census as well but not confirmed.

The AP article also said this would have little impact on ACORN as the majority of their funds come from donations, not government grants.

They were eligible to receive billions from the government.
