Sorry we cant allow the children to listen to the sitting President because it is during class time, but it is noooo problem busing them off to listen to a former President... yea right, nothing partisan or hypocritical there..

Not really, I don't see anything partisan at all.

It is some kids being bussed to see allot more than just Bush.

What the hell is an Agenda Driven Event in your world? In mine, almost all events are Agenda Driven. If they are not, why have them? From my, admittedly brief, look at this one the agenda is supporting education so why wouldn't it be good thing if that agenda drove the damn event?

Hmm so lets see Peter your the one who started this thread I bet you didn't read the whole thing if you did then you would have understood that the Students had to get permission slips signed by there parents and that not only was Mr. W Bush going to be there so was his Wife the Former First Lady along with present and former players of the Dallas cowboys along with a few NASA Folks and Texas Business Folks.

So what part of this have you lost yourself on so we can help point you in the correct direction or better yet stick to the only topic you seem good at that being the Utopian Dream of your the EU and how it's ruined Europe. I hear the French want to go on strike again what is this time not enough vacation Time:roll:
 
My kids will be hearing Obama's speech. A letter came home today about it giving a link to the speech online and letting us know when the video would be shown in class.

So much ridiculousness over nothing.

If they are getting to hear from the Cowboys? I have no problem with this and it would be a shame not to allow your kids that chance. I mean it does not get much better than Dallas Cowboys. O.K. It does NFL wise but man that is cool. :)

I had no problem with Barrys speech once revised.
