So, would you hand your infant son over to an inexperienced Rabbi who, while not trained in anyway, wants to perform the office of a Mohel?

Somehow, if you did, I don't think you'd have to worry about the problem of grandchildren.
The presidents job is to deal with foreign affairs, and receive ambassadors. Obama has simply chosen to be involved more personally. He is good at public speaking, and is well liked world wide. Those qualities make him well suited to host a meeting in the U.N.

I'm sorry but i do not find brown nosing to be decent diplomatic work.

But getting agreements on nuclear weapons reduction, increasing anti-proliferation agreements (particularly tightening up the leaks in the export regime) and overall getting the world powers to unify against rouge parties and terrorists is decent diplomatic work.

I fail to see where the current administration has done any of these things, or the UN (effectively) for that matter. On the other hand I do see a leader who seems to hold all other world leaders at a higher status than his own (and makes this obvious).

So therefore he shouldn't even try at the UN? What kind of logic is that? If you have not produced results because you haven't tried yet, don't try? Huh? Therefore every kid should drop out of school before even starting.

or the UN (effectively) for that matter.
You do realize that the NPT is currently done out of the UN no? That Review Conferences of the Parties to the Treaty of Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons meetings are UN run no? And that the NPT, despite its flaws has done wonders to reduce proliferation.

On the other hand I do see a leader who seems to hold all other world leaders at a higher status than his own (and makes this obvious).
Do you have anything other than overt Obama bashing?

Perhaps you should approach these threads as more than just a way to vent about your dislike of Obama?

This thread started as that though. It failed miserably because facts got in the way, but you can't blame the poor guy for trying to jump in with the OP with mindless Obama bashing.

You know, Obama deserves a mountain of criticism for things he has done. But this is not one of them. I don't mind people giving the President flak, but at least give the president flak for actual, real, substantial things. The recent issue about his speech is another, especially when it was exceptionally mundane and how Reagan actually pushed his economic policies on kids during his broadcasts. Where's the consistency? There should be a real simple scale. The more partisan you are, the less consistent and everyone gets measured on that.

I could go on for pages on that. I could seriously spend hours typing up a long list of complaints and venting about that, but I never get the chance because some one is creating yet another thread that is either factually just wrong, or inflammatory, or calls liberals names, or misleading...and I get caught up defending the guy from the attacks, and never get around to doing my venting about Obama.
