9.7% "Jobless rate". Highest in 26 Years.

From reading that, it is a guess as to when unemployment drops to 5 %. That is more likely to be accurate, though I am not sure even that is right. I would guess that unemployment will drop to around 7 % next year, and then slowly head towards 5 %.
....
Just a personal belief or do you have some basis for that rosie scenerio.

The folks that advise us, and they have a very good track record, are saying there is a good chance the US unemployment rate will be double digit throughout 2010.

1. That scenario isn't rosie at all. In fact, it's relatively bleak when compared to past recessions.

2. :rofl @ the bolded part.

Educated guess based on the recovery from other recessions. I am far from an expert, and am not going to claim to be one though, so take my guess for what it is worth.

We are hearing this is not going to be typical, but more likely to be a 'W'.

The descent is slowing. It has not stopped and ceratinly not reversed.

Prez Doofus said if they passed his program without taking time to even read it, unemployment could be held to 8%. If they didn't pass it quickly, unemployment could hit 9%. Well, they passed it and the US is now at 9.7%.

Seems his progams are not doing what he said they would. Was he lying or just stupid. ;)

Yeah, cuz your 3rd grade posting means diddly. When you stop blaming every last thing on Obama and actually look at information available to you, come back and talk to the rest of us and we will have a discussion. Until then, :2wave:

By the way, the President doesn't have a crystal ball but rather a "best guess." Even Bush would have been low on those numbers given another term and I would not expect him to be Karnak either.

I have heard that too, and it is quite possible.

What the hell are you going on about this time, sweetie; crystal ball, Karnak, ... :rofl

Prez Doofus is the US President. He gets the credit when things go good and the blame when things go bad. So far it has mostly been bad.

If you don't like it... oh well. ;)
