The topic is "see how you guys like it, democrats!" I didn't bite off the man's finger. I didn't shoot anyone. It's terrible. How the hell is this a partisan issue? Have conservatives been inconsiderate regarding town hall meetings? Yes. Have Liberals been inconsiderate regarding town hall meetings? Yes.

Are you really arming yourself with arguments against our claim that the debate is no longer (and may have well been never) being civilly debated? You're right. So are we. Let's point ourselves in the right direction. Not our fingers.
    and so it goes...

So it was all fun and games until someone lost a finger?

    No, not really.

Anti-gun policies are traditionally a liberal facet of operation.

Gun Free Zones were considered and created by liberals... therefore liberals are responsible for the deaths of many innocent children over the years and many innocent people over the years who were stripped of their rights to protect themselves by liberal policy making.

As for the OP, after watching some of the Santa-Cruz townhall meeting videos.. I'm beginning to think it's a good thing that the majority of the California populace is disarmed.
George Washington didn't use his freedom of speech to win the war with Britain... He shot them.

It's despicable. Plain and simple. The person that did it should be arrested and charged for some sort of assault.

funny, i thought the person doing the shooting was responsble for those deaths. and for the record, i'm not anti-gun.

i don't feel they have a place in SCHOOLS, however.

and you certainly can't prove your post, so it's just your opinion, right?

Thank you. I could not agree more.

There is no rational in this debate. Look at this thread! It is important to jostle about whether or not a finger being bitten off is worse than a disabled lady being shouted down? This is an issue of debate? Both are horrible and neither should be condoned, and yet it is more important to demonize labels like "left" and "right" than it is to consider the individuals and what they have at stake in this reform.

    Funny how that works huh?

Gun free zones contribute to more innocent deaths every year than "right wing nuts"...

Because you feel they don't have a place in schools.. doesn't mean that the guy like... mister Cho gives a flying **** what you think.. when he starts shooting people.

Please base your emotions in reality, reality is there are people in this world who don't give a **** about laws.. That's why they're called criminals... Taking away people's ability to defend themselves and others in the name of "I don't feel that guns should be there... or x, or y or some other bull**** idea" is only contributing to the problem.

There are reasons people who are "insane" or "angry" don't go shoot up gun conventions, or Police Stations, or Army Barracks... because even though they might be insane.. they ****ing know they're going to be met with equal an opposite force when they start shooting. Not so in these liberal death zones (read: gun free zones)

You forgot to mention how these "liberal death zones" have been for some time. If these anti gun areas have a higher rate of violent deaths, odds are they did before the gun measures were put in place as an effort to thwart the violent crime rate.

It's like saying areas with poor literacy rates have poor literacy rates because of the programs put in place trying to improve the literacy rates. Great play on numbers nonetheless. Congratulations.
    and so it goes...
