He spent 2 years in prison?? This should be well documented online.. so.. umm link????
Here I'll help and even go with a biased source so you don't get information shock:
Van Jones, 'Green Jobs Czar', a self-described 'communist' arrested during Rodney King riots
hmmm no mention of prison there; although arrested and detained briefly is there:
I'm sure something as major as 2 years in prison is splattered all over the internet and is easy to find.In 1992, Van Jones founded another STORM project, Bay Area PoliceWatch, a "hotline and lawyer-referral service for victims and survivors of police abuse." This is fitting, perhaps, since Jones was himself arrested and detained briefly during a protest after the Rodney King verdict that same year.
I'll give you a chance to move beyond regurgitating (inaccurately) what your puppetmaster is telling you, and actually support your statements with facts before we move on and discuss how Van Jones was ultimately compensated by San Francisco for his unjust arrest and brief period of detainment.

Other selected highlights:“The white polluters and the white environmentalists are essentially steering poison into the people of color communities because they don’t have a racial justice frame.”
In 1992, while still a law student at Yale, Jones participated as a volunteer legal monitor for a protest of the Rodney King verdict in San Francisco. He and many other participants in the protest were arrested. The district attorney later dropped the charges against Jones. The arrested protesters, including Jones, won a small legal settlement. Jones later said that "the incident deepened my disaffection with the system and accelerated my political radicalization." His outrage over the verdict radicalized him: Jones said he was "a rowdy nationalist" before the King verdict was announced. By August of that year, he said, "I was a communist."[ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Jones]Van Jones - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]When he graduated law school, Jones gave up plans to take a job in Washington, D.C., and moved to San Francisco instead. He got involved with Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), a group explicitly committed to revolutionary Marxist politics whose points of unity were revolutionary democracy, revolutionary feminism, revolutionary internationalism, the central role of the working class, urban Marxism, and Third World Communism.
This guy sounds like one of the biggest dbags imaginable. There's something seriously off about the type of people who join groups like this.
Before I saw that, I had been inclined to say that as a result of this publicity, he might end up pulling a "leaving this position to pursue opportunities in the private sector." Somehow, I don't think he's they type of guy to go quietly like that.
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
thanks, the only links i could find all led to beck
i knew what womanish hysteria would ensue if i dropped the sneakers wearing pundit's name
even if the quotes all were in van's own words
and i'd much rather having em talking about ME than beck
cuz that way i always win
thanks for the stronger source
