Holy ****, can you read english?

Imagine this poster, minus the website and the McCain 08 tag,
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Let me say that I do not think that these posters will change the mind of any kids who want to drop out since the vast majority probably can't read anyway.

What is bothering your booppie ? Is it the message that dropping out of school is bad that you hate ? Or is it that President Obama's message is on the poster that you hate ? Or is it that the image of President Obama is on the poster ? Or is it that the a good message is being attributed to President Obama? Would you be happier if the message was "drop out now avoid the june rush " Barack.

I won't ask if the problem you have with the poster is racial because no one stoop that low, right ? Well maybe Strom Thurman would have but he's dead.

And I would strongly oppose it in such a case. To me, at least, such an ad would seem unnecessarily partisan and downright improper for placement in a public school.

Yea bro, you got me. I'm pissed that they dared to put a black man on a poster.

Serious q: did you read the OP or any other posts in the thread? My problem with it was explained pretty clearly.

I would chat with her when I'm feeling particularly snarky, but I wouldn't ever call her on the phone.

Yeh ! It's like the Nancy Reagan "Just Say No" thing. It made a nice bumber sticker, didn't help, but it was nice and did not harm anything. I also don't think that the "Just Say No" thing helped out in any election and that poster will not help President Obama either.

It's harmless, albiet useless, nice message.

Good example! I have mentioned in the past my affection for Nancy Reagan and her "Just Say No" campaign.

Yeh all of you "liberal" kids passed notes around. The good conservative kids memorized the Constitution and other good stuff and they became the patriots. And all of you note passers grew up to become abortionists, anti-war demonstrators and tax collectors.

Not surprisingly, RightinNYC, I'm with you in this. Have you seen the discussion questions offered up to go along with the Sept. 8th address? It's all about Obama's desire for a collectivist society and about how kids can help the president achieve that.

I would NOT mind it if the president gave a non-political speech to my kids and showed them around the WH, his kids, and described what all is involved with his position.

    That's not what this is.

And if someone is relying on Obama to keep a kid in school, that kid's ******, anyway.
