CBS News' McCormick Injured In Afghanistan
Was injured during roadside bombing while on assignment for CBS Radio News

CBS reported Friday that CBS News correspondent Cami McCormick had been injured in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan while on assignment for CBS Radio News.

She was riding with soldiers in their vehicle when it wast hit by the IED (improvised explosive device), which killed one of the soldiers. She underwent surgery at a field hospital and was transported to an air base for more treatment.
