Ted Kennedy Dies of Brain Cancer at Age 77

Death is tragic. I believe that the death of anybody is a matter that should be treated with some humanity. It really isn't fair to the person who passed, nor is it fair to their family, if opponents continue to slander the deceased.
Why is death tragic? It is the normal course of things.

.

Nothing like a little feigned outrage to start the day.

Why do you care how people feel about his passing? For some reason, I doubt you'd be as riled up if someone on the right had passed and hyper-partisan liberals were bashing him/her just as much.

You really don't know me. Death is something that personally effects me much more than those around me. Not that I'm sobbing Senator Kennedy's passing. I simply believe that death is a subject which deserves a good deal of sensitivity.

Neither life nor death are fair. Get over it.

Mary Jo's death was a tragic waste of fine ass. Kennedy should have been sent to the slammer not because he killed a bitch, we've all done that in Vegas at least once this year. But for the fact he got a fine ass hoe killed.

I would like to take a moment and apologize for calling Mary Jo an ugly bitch. I have seen a picture of her now and I have to say :

Well, I'll remember you said this when a big right-wing figure passes.

Bummer. I was hoping he would get to see the day UHC passed or at least a public option, for which he spent his life fighting! RIP champion of the poor. I hope you and your brothers have a happy reunion.

I say go for it. Someone dies and that somehow supposed to make all the **** they did somehow disappear? When accusations against Michael Jackson alleged child molestation came up the media was all over that like he did do what he was accused of. Now that he is dead they are all over his dick pretending that they viewed the man as a saint. Screw that. When Jane Fonda dies I am going to be saying good that traitorous bitch is dead, they better hide her grave. Kennedy did some damage to the country as far as I am concerned and I am not going to talk nice about him. When Charles Manson or some other serial killing scumbag dies I am sure a lot of people are going to be cheering his death or talking about how he should have been executed, they are not going to be talking about the man like he was a saint although they did for Tookie Williamson so they might act like he was saint.

It is palinly obvious that both extremes have posted classless things on this thread and I do not even want to bother going back to dtermine which political pole the first asshole who posted a dispicably classless thing was from.

A pox on both of your houses.

You keep making the same mistake over and over again; you think I give a damn about what you think.

:rofl

The mods should kill this thread Ted Kennedy style. Let it drown in the sewer.

what's the point of this? couldn't you wait a day or 2?

He also served his country by being in the military. Something many people do not do.

RIP Ted

That doesn't automatically make someone good.

I find all this fawning over dead people, who may not be the greatest individuals, to be pretentious.
To say that you can't be happy that a person, who you perceive as bad, is dead is stupid.

It was the same story when Jerry Falwell died. Except that day I didn't have as much smart ass lines because I was so happy about his death. I mean I'm not happy Ted Kennedy died but I just want to add a bit more fuel to the fire by making as much fun of it as possible. Every single liberal that was there then went off on Falwell when he died. Kennedy is no exception.

Somehow I knew you'd ignore the fact that he has served his country all along.

An immoral crook served the country and you think this merits respect? How profound of you.

And the reality is that you look like a immoral fool dancing on Kennedy's grave. How can you sit here and cheer on someone's death, whether you believe what is said about him or not?

Easy watch me again; (to the tune of wicked witch) Yippee the Ted is dead, the Ted is dead, the scumbag Ted is dead. :rofl

Sure Kennedy made plenty of enemies, but that shouldn't be his legacy. He was a US Senator and a war veteran. For that matter, every American should honor his passing with a minimal amount of humanity.

War veteran? The putz was kicked out of Harvard and signed up for a four year stint in a safe place like Paris. He was so stupid he even screwed up signing up for two years by signing up for four requiring daddy to pull strings and get him out of serving his full term and ensuring he had a safe assignment.

You call this service? Yeah Mkay. :rofl

Sorry Sanitas, I just cannot achieve the low standard you have set for your politicians which suggests that a philandering, lying, man slaughtering, spoiled rich kid should somehow divine respect for the simple fact that he sucked off the public teat for 40 years.

:2wave:

Kennedy's passing could give public health option proponents a boost.

If the Bill is re-named the Kennedy bill, which it almost surely will, the Democrats will have the momentum.

The Dems have a nice opportunity to exploit.

Whether it is used correctly is in their hands.

Wow...only you could find a way to ruin things when most of us are having fun. Go home. You've ruined our fun.

Your notions of what is fun are about as warped and distorted as your notions are about reality and politics.

But hey, if I ruined your fun, my job is done here! :2wave:

I love this farcical notion too; that he was this champion for the poor. Nothing he ever did was a benefit to the poor; but rather and effort to make Americans dumb enough to buy his agenda dependent dumb wards of the State.

I am betting he thought of nothing else as he sailed his yachts off of Martha's Vineyard.

:rofl

Do you not get enough dick from your husband at home? Because you're more annoying than a woman on her period.

I don't know. He seems to be in pretty good spirits today. He may actually be getting just enough dick from his husband at home.

Someone's having an emo moment. Would you like to borrow my razor blades to release some angst?
