Ted Kennedy was a self serving, spoiled, silver spoon fed bastard who skated through his entire life on his brother's good name and his father's money.

Today the world just got a little bit better.

Sure Kennedy made plenty of enemies, but that shouldn't be his legacy. He was a US Senator and a war veteran. For that matter, every American should honor his passing with a minimal amount of humanity.
Nothing like a little feigned outrage to start the day.

Why do you care how people feel about his passing? For some reason, I doubt you'd be as riled up if someone on the right had passed and hyper-partisan liberals were bashing him/her just as much.

Ted Kennedy was a polarizing figure. Why should people be forbidden from expressing antipathy as well as affection for him after his death?

It's not like he cares, HE'S DEAD.
not that it should be "forbidden from expressing antipathy as well as affection for him after his death" but in civil socity one does not disparage the dead with the exception if the dead was a Communist, Russian-Communist or a Nazi !! Those three types of fecal matter do not deserve anyone's respect, either alive or dead !!!
I do not recall the Viet Cong asking me if I was a natural born or Naturalized American before they shot at me, they just shot at all of us f107HyperSabr

How people feel about you after your death is largely a function of how you lived.
Death is tragic. I believe that the death of anybody is a matter that should be treated with some humanity. It really isn't fair to the person who passed, nor is it fair to their family, if opponents continue to slander the deceased.

Why is death tragic? It is the normal course of things.

You really don't know me. Death is something that personally effects me much more than those around me. Not that I'm sobbing Senator Kennedy's passing. I simply believe that death is a subject which deserves a good deal of sensitivity.

Neither life nor death are fair. Get over it.

Mary Jo's death was a tragic waste of fine ass. Kennedy should have been sent to the slammer not because he killed a bitch, we've all done that in Vegas at least once this year. But for the fact he got a fine ass hoe killed.

I would like to take a moment and apologize for calling Mary Jo an ugly bitch. I have seen a picture of her now and I have to say :

Dayuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum. I mean she needed a bit of dental work but ummm overall. Not bad Teddy....NOT bad at all.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK
