You've kind of hit the nail on the head with this post. Because this is how the MSM operate... take a non-story and turn it into a story by confusing facts until the majority of the public believe a whole alternate version of history.

Did what exactly? They had a meeting and nothing was done to change the levels. Ridge had a spider sense tingly feeling and the world turns upside down?

I wasn't trying to specify the terrorist alert level at the time of the election, but more the approach the Bush campaign took to get re-elected. Things like saying that only Bush will keep America safe, and all of the other bull**** that the American people ate up.
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

It all depends how you view history. And, how far back you go.

The nature of politics is to influence others to obtain your goal. Thus, you have to con to get what you want. If you con, you have to bend the truth, or over enhance the truth, which in itself is a lie.

We often want to blame the GOP for our involvement in Iraq, but the Dem's allowed it to happen without one gripe. They refused to challenge the intelligence or the prez.

When you go to a store, and you see a child being a brat and the parents refuse to discipline the child, who should be smacked the kid or the parents for letting the child be a brat?

The GOP and GW were given the keys to the kingdom with no opposition from the dems, so they went to Iraq and created a fiasco.

In a nut shell, we went there without the opposing party questioning it, granted we'd probably be in Iraq anyways because the Dems didn'th have the votes, but maybe we'd of slowed down and required more accurate intelligence.

Nope, what killed Kerry's chance was that he was an idiot, and the dems were in shambles, and the GOP were riding a tide of popularity. In many persons minds, they were not voting for Kerry, they were voting against Bush. Hence, the Dems didn't have a halfway decent candidate to defeat Bush.

Seems that almost every high ranking, former member of the Bush/Cheney regime upholds the truth that that was a criminal regime that abused its power & lied BIG lies (into wars, etc)....not about consensual sex.
If any administration in the history of this nation stained the White House, it was GW Bush. ( & Richard Nixon)

It's time for a revolution in our country. Not a revolution forged with guns and bombs but a revolution forged of compassion and altruism. A revolution that extends a hand to those who don't have and who cannot. A revolution that makes Health Care available to all those in the US.

No joke. Both really brought the office of the president into the sludge.
