Own your 9-10 trillion dollar debt first. In addition, if we succeed, you must bow down and call us masters.

That's a big, "if". The Blue Dogs know it. Judging from the public reaction already, just passing the bill will spell the end of many-a-congressional career for Dems all over the country.

There is no chance of anything drawing bipartisan support with Republicans. The Limbaughs and Glen Becks out there just wont have it.

Most Americans are pragmatic and moderate, there problem with Democrats right now is that they believe the Democrats are trying to do too much and spend too much instead of focusing on nothing but economic recovery. That does not mean that they are all of a sudden resurrecting that long gone Reagan Coalition again though. They are pissed off at the Democrats right now, but they hate Republicans.
But, presidents do lose elections when they swoop into town over-reaching on every issue they can. Carter proved that, any president that raises taxes and kills jobs during a recession can lose an election in a heart beat. The Dems swung too far Left. The American people don't want that. Personally, I believe that the Liberals believed too much of their own propaganda and now it's biting them in the ass.

The Dems are really stickin' to the working class and the last thing anyone wants to do is piss off the largest single voting block in the country. Especially when the whole motive is to pacify the welfare class.

Neither of those are going to happen. PBO has made it obvious that improving the economy isn't at all what he's interested in doing.

Judgeing from past performance, you're wrong.

This is demonstrably either an incredibly stupid statement, or a lie. One of the first things Obama did as president is prioritize a stimulus package, which while you can argue about it's effectiveness, was obviously intended to improve the economy.

The Libbos aren't going to let it improve. Nothing they've done, or even proposed has, or will have a positive effect on the economy. Cap-n-Trade sure as hell won't improve the economy.

And, since the money was pissed away on union raises and Liberal wet dreams from the past 30 years, it hasn't had the desired effect. In some cases it did the opposite of what it was intended to do. It's incredibly stupid to think that the stealfromus package did anything to help the economy.
