The wealthy American may be against any change, and this has been the case for a very long time.
The poor and the ever shrinking "middle class" do want a better system.
We have to look to the more socially advanced nations in Europe and Canada for this.
A man has to be either blind and or insulated from real life to not see that things are not as good as they should be.. Our health care is not patient friendly, not efficient, and is corrupted with greed from patients and doctors and lawyers.
I'd like to see the insurance, as we know it, GO.
Pay as one goes with federal government insurance for catastrophes, only.
I'd like to hear from those in other lands for some intelligent discourse..
Many of those at the "town meetings" are idiots.

I stopped at you cheerin "Europe" and America's hat as more socially advanced....

    Do you call this "Disrupting"?

Video: Rep. Steve Rothman (D-NJ) gets yelled at by constituents at Health Care Town Hall | Mofo Politics | Hoping Obama Fails
Now that you mention it, I really don't know how many or what % of these town hall meetings have been disrupted by protesters.

    Does anyone have any data?

I am always amused by this populist notion that profits and dividends are bad.

Who do you think benefits from their profits and dividends?

And if it doesn't, you will probably still rail in your typical uninformed emotionally filled rants that it is the "evil" Republicans fault won't you?

I watched part of that video and didn't see any disrupting but I saw another video where protesters basically didn't allow the meeting to take place until they were physically removed. Just how common that is I don't know. Maybe it only happened once.

Are you talking about the one where they were attacked by union thugs?

Again you would be miss-informed; the GOP Congress has expressed many solutions that are far better than allowing the mediocrity and incompetence of expanding Government Bureaucracies into every facet of our lives.

I would suggest taking your blinders off and looking around for some answers before you parrot these DNC talking points.

I have to ask; why is it that you and others think that the ONLY solution is a Government takeover?

I checked all of your links and found not one single proposition. All of them said make healthcare more affordable, but HOW? The rest mirrored the Democratic plan. So typical, full of rhetoric, but no substance. And "government takeover?" Misinformation seems to be your policy of choice.

Yeah, that's the one. I don't defend the vigilantes who removed the protesters any more than I defend the protesters who tried to stop the town hall meeting.

I could be wrong, but they were there not to disrupt but to make thier voices heard when the union thugs pre-empted them, they got loud... I would to.
