Now that would be an honest opinion and fear. If your friends who are throwing stupidities around such as calling the health care financing "socialist" and having "death panels" could actually speak up and dicuss the pros and cons of this bill or bill in an intelligent manner we may be able to get somewhere.
Nut cases who call the health care reform "unconstitutional" apparently either never read the constitution or do not understand it.
But, it
is socialist. Sections 411 and 412 prove that much. Obviously, the language in the bill doesn't say, "death panels", however in Sec 1233, it clearly states that the government will determine which of our elderly will get life saving care and which won't.
The government plan won't pay for costly precedures, unless the panel, "orders"--yes, it actually says, "order"--the precedure to be executed.
There's are three reasons that the supporters of this bill don't take issue with it's stipulations: 1) Stupidity, 2) completely ignorant of what the bill actually says, 3) or, they have, "free healthcare", on their brains.
Any rational person, that has read even a little bit of the bill, will oppose it with his very life.
Nothing that the supporters are saying can be supported by the language of the bill.
The healthcare bill
is unconstitutional and yes, I've read the Constitution. Hell, I've read the Constitution and the health bill...LOL!!!! Unlike alotta the supporters of this crap. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that I can be forced to pay the kind of money that this bill will force me to pay, so a buncha deadbeats on welfare can get free healthcare. I challenge you to show it to me, if you disagree.
