Yes, that's what "bi-partisan" means to them -- if you dont support their ideas, its because you're partisan; if -they- don't support YOUR ideas, its because -you're- partisan.

    It just boggles the mind.

Liberals spend eight years trying to sabotage everything Bush does, then they expect conservatives to be quiet the day Obama takes office.

And the difference is, conservatives are arguing based on principles, while liberals argued in spite of there lack therof.

Re: Obama: ‘don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking’

they act all hurt when their CHIN in chief takes flak

like they never expected a president to get bitched out

criticism comes with leadership, part of the territory

that they don't appreciate this kinda shows they've never been boss before

obama, meanwhile, gives us cause to carp everyday

    spying on our neighbors---puhleez

telling good americans to shut up

calling honest protesters, senior citizens, yet, unamerican

sending geithner and summers out on mtp and ftn to suggest raising taxes on the middle class

all the above in just the last week

no wonder he's waved the white flag on the public option

    obamacare is dead

all now depends on the 3 republicans in baucus' gateway cmte---grassley, enzi and snowe

    watch em close

    don't let em cave

the irony is---they were much more amenable to move a month ago

before all the SPYING and SHUT UP's

obama has SHRUNK a great deal since then

and even OLYMPIA SNOWE has seen the FACE of america sentiment concerning obamacare

unless she doesn't own a tv

which, trust me, she surely does

    watch SNOWE!

if she slides, let her have it!

    cliff

Re: Obama: ‘don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking’

When GWB was President many liberals were constantly complaining and attacking him for everything under the sun. Some attacks are legitimate, some aren't. In response to this, many conservatives were saying "Yeah, but Clinton....."

Now Obama is President and many conservatives are constantly complaining and attacking him for everything under the sun. Some attacks are legitimate, some aren't. In response to this, many liberals are saying "Yeah, but GWB....."

History repeats itself and many on both sides of the political spectrum are full of hypocrisy and bull****. This story is a prime example of that.

Obama didn't word this very well, which certainly isn't new territory for him. He isn't trying to actively silence any and all dissent against his ideas. He is responding to the criticism made by people whom he feels put us into this mess with criticism of his own. Oh, and this is a wake up call to liberals out there. This may come as a complete shock, but he's just as partisan as any other politician. Campaign promises are often empty promises.

Just like a Republican and Bush Apologist to argue that inaction is the best course of conduct.
God, you are just a straight up LIAR. This is NOT TRUE. Bush was NOT a fiscal conservative nor was he a proponent of laissez faire economics. You are a blatant, blatant liar. Unbelievable...

Unfortunately, many people see political issues in very black or white terms.

I have to disagree partially. He isn't as bipartisan as he promised to be but not all politicians are equally partisan. He's nowhere near Bill or Hillary.
If you expect people to be rational, you aren't being rational.

So far my biggest gripe with Obama and the biggest ding to his credit is his promise to bring the troops home. (something he said a long time ago). And he word smithed and used the will of the liberals to his advantage. And now we are even building bases in Columbia. Obama is a puppet. And the world is starting to know it.

No I know. I'm just saying that he's not exactly living up to his campaign promises, which should really come as a shock to no one.
