    Tell me:
Of all the major legislation passed under GWB, which did not have bi-partisan support?

And remember: The Obama's Health Care Boondoggle isn't being stopped by the GOP.

No child left behind was an Edward Kennedy bill that former President Bush graciously passed, when it failed G.W. was bashed over the head with the results, that was bi-partisan, medicare part D was passed with bi-partisan support, as well as HIPPAA and COBRA insurance laws, Democrats as well as Republicans voted for action in the middle east, etc. You sure you want to take this position?

    Uh, nope.

But, we are puttin' up and puttin' out. The American people, who own the government, are speaking out. They're saying what they want. They want the Libbos to stay out of our lives and our pockets books.

What happens when a republican crosses the aisle these days? He is called a traitor and the party promises retaliation in the next election. Republicans killed bipartisanship and have only themselves to blame if they feel left out. If they want a seat at the table they need to tone down the rhetoric and act like reasonable people. As long as they talk like it's the end of the world if any democratic agenda passes they will and should be left out in the cold. Democrats have the majority and they can keep it if they all stop playing nice with the ones who are working only to insure their failure.
That's not true. The Reps didn't have a fillibuster proof majority. If a bill got passed, it was with a bi-partisan vote.

Nice, you sound like me and coffee, I could just put sugar and cream in the pot and go about the day. The reason I was curious is that we get alot of British oil workers here and they don't mention the tea thing or really do a tea time, but then again that could be a cultural thing and our tea may not be what they are accustomed to. BTW, my favorite tea reference of all time is in Shawn of the Dead. Sorry mods, getting back on topic.

    I dislike coffee.
I will only drink if there is no tea but i will overload it with sugar and milk.

I live in the South, pretty traditional here. Not every British person likes tea, just a generalisation. I do bake my own scones, cakes etc. to go with it but that is just because i love sweet things

Love Shawn of the dead, hilarious
