Gotta love Pelosi saying that the protests are "astroturf" and then lies about them having Nazi garb. What idiot PR director gets a bunch of people trying to look like real Americans concerned about Obama's polices and trying to garner support, and tells them to dress like Nazis? A lot of DNC politicians thought that being elected based on not being like George Bush gave them a mandate for their policies, and I think that they're receiving a rude awakening to the fact that Americans don't want what they want.
Good for him."But I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don't mind cleaning up after them, but don't do a lot of talking."
Elections have consequences.
Republicans are acting as if a coup took place.
Your side had eight years of screwing up everything, why not give the guy more than six months to fix it?
Your assumption is that His "fix" is better than if everything were simply left alone. That's an assumption based on nothing more than partisanship and ideology.Your side had eight years of screwing up everything, why not give the guy more than six months to fix it?
Women (Nasty or otherwise) are going to be the reason that Donald Trump is NEVER President!
Not even -close- to being true.
But then, when a liberal has an attack to make, the truth is meaningless.
The mess began when lending practices were relaxed so that people who would otherwise be unable to get credit to buy real estate were able to do so, thusly creating a 'sub-prime' credit market. This relaxation was forced upon lenders by liberals, based on the idea that most unworthy applicants were minorities, and that denying thse people was based on race.
And so, "the mess" came from an unsound change in lending prractices, one opposed by those with the most at risk -- the lenders. Had things been left alone, we'd not be in this mess.
The solution? Let everyithing run its course, and then revert to the sound lending practices that would -prevent- a 'sub prime' credit collapse. The idea that only government can fix what's currently wrong is absurd, unsound, unsupportable, and championed only by people that stand to gain personal and/or partisan political power from doing so.
Just like a liberal, to make stuff up just so he could bash the other side.Just like a Republican and Bush Apologist to argue that inaction is the best course of conduct
What happens when a republican crosses the aisle these days? He is called a traitor and the party promises retaliation in the next election. Republicans killed bipartisanship and have only themselves to blame if they feel left out. If they want a seat at the table they need to tone down the rhetoric and act like reasonable people. As long as they talk like it's the end of the world if any democratic agenda passes they will and should be left out in the cold. Democrats have the majority and they can keep it if they all stop playing nice with the ones who are working only to insure their failure.
