The GOP has clearly indicated that they are going to take a united front in opposition to any Obama policy. That's why they are labeled the "party of no". That is separate in and of itself from the healthcare issue. The GOP will definitely say No...but the Dems could pass it by themselves if they had the spine to do so.

The "party of no" political strategy is either a brilliant or incredibly stupid move on the part of the GOP. Only time will tell.

If the economy continues to sputter and struggle, the GOP will be in a great position to say, "hey look, we all said Obama's policies were stupid...we were right, now give us another chance".

However, if the economy improves, the GOP is going to look absolutely foolish and completely irrelevant.

A bold move on the part of the GOP but a huge gamble that is either going to pay huge dividends or will be a complete disaster. But one thing I have to hand to the "party of no" at least they have the guts to take that gamble. The democrats are comprised of a bunch of spineless wimps that are so worried about catering to the "moderate" voter that they are afraid to take a stand on anything.
