The amount of money the U.S. government possesses is not static. That's now how programs are run.

    Anyway:

Private and Public Insurance Could Help Pay National Health Care Reform

Savings from the mixed private-public reform approach would be realized through less marketing and underwriting, reduced costs of claims administration, less time spent negotiating provider payment rates, and fewer or standardized commissions to insurance brokers.

If you believe that propaganda regarding how UHC will save money I refer you to the cash for clunkers program...

It ran out of money in 4 days..... Open your eyes man.

What is your point here....the program was SUPPOSED to run out of money. That it ran out in 4 days is a mark of its success. But I think you know that, you are just following the Rightwing Rules for turning news inside out.

The two don't compare. That program was just supposed to get clunkers off the road with a set amount of money. The set amount of money was vouched for faster than anticipated, but the same amount of clunkers will get off the road as would have had the money lasted for a month.

Part A is involuntary for people over 65. Okay. But for everybody else both A and B are voluntary.
No, part A isn't involuntary, you are in the system if you are employed, you pay taxes on it, it only activates upon conditions being met, whether you use it or not you are enrolled.

They are irrationally worried then. The government stopped the program as soon as it was observed it was tapping out.

... the definition of 'voluntary' you are presupposing applies toward any form of taxation. By that standard, if I use public restrooms (I don't), then I ought to be reimbursed the cost of maintaining them.

Incorrect, there is taxation based on proper law, and then there is paying everyone else's way. Medicare is involuntary if you work and so are the associated taxes, only usage is voluntary, it is not the same thing whatsoever. Besides, the fed controls medicare, they do not control public restrooms, that is a state and local issue, not the same thing at all. Also of note, there are private options in medicare, none are welcome in the current proposal apparently.
