U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bill C

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Please stop personally attacking my intelligence!

What in the world are you talking about??? All makeout has done is rebute your point, all the while you have been calling him "naive."

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

What is the proof that Clinton gave something to the DPRK??? For all we know, he made Kim Jung Il look somewhat better, which could be some diplomatic leverage.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

But even if we did give something up, so what?

that would depend on what was given up, now, wouldn't it?

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Kim Jung Il did this as a political action to lend more credence to his word when it comes to matters at the negotiation table

north korean credence as negotiators?

LOL!

forgive me, friend

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Regardless of what you think of William Clinton, you have to admit, he did a good job here.

My thoughts exactly.

However, I would find it hard to believe that they released these women out of pure kindness. I wonder what N. Korea gets for releasing these women?

.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

I didn't say simply credence, but more credence as such.

They look better on the international scene. They seriously need that, and this could seriously affect whether people decide to agree to trades of grain and other essentials the DPRK is missing.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

the north koreans are the most notoriously corrupt and dishonest, insane, even, negotiators of the 20th century

there's no bargaining with pyongyang, i fear

that said, i guess folks can always hope for the best

while whistling...

They get pictures of themselves posing with Bill Clinton. Don't laugh, that's a big deal for them. Notice that Clinton never smiled while he was in NK, except a moment with the flower girl. Notice also that the two women are returning on Clinton's plane, as I predicted.
Well here he is in Pyongyang, so you're wrong already. Like to bet some cash he takes them out on that plane behind him?

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

aw, c'mon, man, that's harder than picking between gibbs and geithner, which one's coming clean?

ok, ok, for you, i won't

but you OWE me, dude

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

:roll:Thank you Mr. Know-it-all. I love it when people interpret an event with their tin-foil hats on and pretend like it's the truth. Don't tell me, we didn't land on the moon either, right?

Well to be fair CNN said exactly that just now. "The deal was setup behind the scenes before the ex President even left. They are wondering what was given up." Even Dan Rather got into it. The six party talks NK leader met the ex president on the tarmac along with their PR lady.

I am thinking NK has been looking for an opportunity like this for awhile.

Regardless I am glad they came home safe. Supposedly they were working for Gore. What did he have them doing exactly?

Too bad Daniel Pearl didn't work for Al Gore. Maybe if he had he wouldn't have been beheaded.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Speculation is no proof that anything happened. Since you have no proof anything happened, why don't you explain your reasoning, then.

Correct...speclation isn't proof!

So you are fallaciously claiming that Bill Clinton flew all the way over there without so much as a deal being already consummated beforehand? What proof do you have? Please explain your naïve reasoning to me?

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Care to prove a ransom wasn't paid?
You are asking someone to prove a negative. Look it up in case you don't know what that phrase means, which obviously you don't know to ask a question like that.

Wow more nonsense from you. Big surprise:roll: there.

You gonna tell some "Your mamma so fat" jokes too?

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Bill mustve given ol Kim his porn collection.

the north koreans are the most notoriously corrupt and dishonest, insane, even, negotiators of the 20th century

and they are different from Moscow and Beijing how?

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

I don't even know what that means. It smacks of the new focus on the 'white vote' we're now seeing with the GOP. Veiled racism.

You lefties see racism under every rock, and refuse to see it in your Messiah.

Run along little boy, your racism card doesn't play here.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

:rofl:rofl:rofl

Please tell me when Clinton raped someone.

April, 1978.

Get your lazy ass on the internet and do your own research. Next thing you'll be demanding proof that the earth orbits the sun or that Democrats will defend any pond scum if it has a (D) after it's name.

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

Do you have any sort of evidence that there was a ransom or that Gore pulled strings, or are you just speculating?

Uh....this isn't a Hollywood movie, it's North Korea.

OF COURSE ransom was paid and strings were pulled.

The most terrifying thing is that the people who can't see this put their callow shallow ignorant inexperienced idealistic and wrong Messiah in the White House.

Here is you just a post above telling someone to look for the facts....yet surprise as usual you mouth of nonsense with absolutely nothing to support this. Tell me, why do you conservatives feel the need to lie consistently to support arguments?

Re: U.S. Journalists Pardoned by North Korea Following Visit from Former President Bi

pyongyang is less credible, less rational, more pathological even than those horrible examples you point to

perhaps you should ask some of kim's "citizens"

oh, yeah, that's right...

LOL!
