Prepare yourself for more hostage taking.

If money had been handed over people would call it negotating with terrorists but kim was given something much more important to him.

To get this visit was possibly a way for Kim to improve the chances that one of his sons will take over after him.
Probably Kim wanted advice from the Big Dog's mouth on how to get girls.

I love the fact that Al Gore was rejected by North Korea. I guess that Kim, with all his medical problems, couldn't take the chance that Al Gore might break into a monologue from "An Inconvenient Truth". Kim might have gotten naseous and lost his dinner!

I'm reading this a day late, but if you would put a poster on ignore due to a dissenting opinion (when he/she has not even attacked you personally), then your skin must be too thin for this forum. Dissenting opinions is what DP is all about.

Do yoiu only read the posts for daily affirmation?... like Stuart Smally, aka Al Franken?

What? Dear Leader doesn't just need to point?
...we honor leaders for what they achieve, but we often prefer to close our eyes to the way they achieve it...

In the real world, politics is compromise and democracy is politics. Anyone who would be a statesman has to be a successful politician first. Also, a leader has to deal with people and nations as they are, not as they should be. As a result, the qualities required for leadership are not necessary those that we would want our children to emulate - unless we wanted them to be leaders.

Regardless the reporters admitted they broke the law. Can you say confession?
