TEHRAN, Iran — The head of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard said Saturday that his country has the capability to strike Israel's nuclear facilities and wouldn't be afraid to do so if it was attacked.

"If the Israeli entity engages in any kind of attack on Iran, we have the capability to strike all targets in occupied Palestine," General Mohammad Ali Jafari told the Arabic-language channel, al-Alam.

"There is nothing stopping us from targeting Israel's nuclear sites and this will definitely happen if we are attacked. Our rockets have the precision capabilities to target all the Israeli nuclear sites," he said, according to the channel's Web site.

Jafari has made similar comments in the past as part of the ongoing war of words between Israel and Iran. Last March, Jafari warned Israel that its nuclear facilities are within range of Iranian missiles and Iran would strike back if attacked.

Yea right they can hit Israel, with what we all know the Shahab-3 couldn't hit the side of a Barn and which aircraft now that can go to Israel and back.

Oh and what are the chance remotely mind you that if they even try to send aircraft towards Israel that the Saudis wouldnt blow them out of the Sky.

600 missiles at a time? That's what worries me.
 
No offense but if a country struck at my nuclear facilities and I had the capability to fire back, I would.

The U.S. Would, Russia would, any other country would. Why would Iran (if it had the capability) do any different).

Maybe this is an eye opener for Israel.

Probably not which is the reason they haven't attacked.

Weren't there some that said Israel would strike by June? That has come and passed.

Thereby also massacring the Palestinians....

Iran is just rattling swords to distract attention...as usual. Keep in mind when this statement was made..and what else was happening in the world. They are not complete idiots after all, they know full well the concept of controlling a news cycle.

That isn't my quote please folks take the time and read what I posted and the rules of BN anything I write is at the end of the story I put up, I guess I will start posting my thoughts in another color from now on this is the second time in about two minutes were I was misquoted.:roll:

You could use the quote feature, but then that maybe require you to ask your superiors at the pentagon where you work at how to do it :rofl

They have the X-55 long range cruise missiles. 12 that we know of for a fact. These cruise missiles do not have to use an aircraft as the delivery system, but can use land vehicle launchers.

Yeah, they'll strike alright.
Just like they've destroyed the Iraqi core during the 80's, or perhaps just like they've destroyed the Syrian core a few years ago.
Iran has no history to stand by, Israel has no reason to be afraid, but yet, no reason to let its guard down either.

Anyway, this is really irrelevant as Israel has no nukes at all.
