The idea is that it should not be a false assurance. Victory should be the objective--in fact as well as in rhetoric.

The explanation would be clear on the reasons we went into Iraq if you spent a few minutes of your life reading the Joint Resolution.

But then, since when did facts ever get in the way of your myopic partisan rhetoric?

By the way, do you ever notice than when you are challenged to provide facts to support your previous farcical statements you respond by asking a new farcical question?

I call this the circle of futility. It occurs when a Liberal makes a false or farcical statement and then when challenged on it jumps to the next false or farcical statement. In threads, this phenomenon can re-occur until the challenger finally gives up by realizing that the Liberal doesn't have any concern for reality or facts and merely makes up their own version of events.

Are you THAT unfamiliar with the history of Rumsfield and Cheney and their neo-con agenda regarding Iraq that dated back decades before 9/11???;)

Have you read the Joint Resolution? Are you also aware that it had vast bi-partisan support on BOTH sides of the aisle?

Are you also aware that the interrogator who spent a lot of time with Saddam indicated that Saddam deliberately misled the world about his WMDs because he was more fearful of Iran than he was of the UN and America and felt that just the threat of having WMDs kept Iran at bay?

Of course you are not aware of the FACTS because if you were you wouldn't run around the forum making such farcical false statements and claims.

Here's how its done. Go to a search engine such as "Google"

Type in "Rumsfield Cheney Iraq agenda" and there are hundreds of articles that you can read that will catch you up with the rest of us.

I want a real leader--one who actually leads.

Yes, that means that a real leader actually occasionally cheers. A real leader is actually occasionally a cheerleader.

What I do not want is Dear Leader. I want him out of office, out of politics, out of Washington...and out of sight completely. He is a forgettable little creature whose best service to the nation would be slithering back into his little hole so we can set about forgetting him.
