Transparency from this Obama administration is something that the American Electorate will not get.

The Obama mantra promised 'Change' the actuality is that whatever change we get will not be made public.

When even the House is denied permission and time to read any Obama bill, that is the time that one knows that all pretense of Democracy has finally been abandoned in the US.
 
Keep in mind that Obama never promised change for the better.

Recession is when your neighbor loses their job.
Depression is when you lose your Job.

The typical Granola Liberal argument is to respond to something to sokmething that wasn't said in an attempt to obfuscate the real point and you did even that poorly because In the little tiny post I submitted any one can see I never said anything close to to what you said.

Same reason I don't with many politicians. Sometimes Gaffs happen. So I take it you took Bush to his word EVERY time then no matter what he said?

Gaffs are quite funny when they happen. Obama has had them (51 states) and Bush has had them too, along with alot of politicians, but no I don't take them to their word for it. Do you?

NOV 2010 has everything to do with Bobo. This is a site for the politically knowledgeable I assume.

I do not, nor have I ever used illegal drugs. Also, I quit smoking and drinking* both on the same day, cold turkey I might add, while in Vietnam as a young Marine. That was interesting to say the least.


* I was smoking, at the time, 2 to 3 packs a day and was drinking the request amount of booze a young Marine is required to drink....a whole lot.

I have a brother, living up in Iowa. He is just a bit to the left of Che. He has many years experience (but has learned nothing) in politics. Many years as the county chair of the Democrat Party. We agree on very little in politics, save two things. Term limits are wrong and government gridlock is good.

Every Democrat President deserves a Republican Congress and every Republican President deserves a Democrat Congress.

NOV 2010 is when this country needs to put some great big brakes on the excesses of Bobo and Crew. The normal turnover of seats is 29 for the House and 3 for the Senate. The Republicans need to win 40 seats to retake the House. That is, I opine, doable but highly unlikely. It is possible that the Republicans could win up to 5 seats in the Senate.

NOV 2010, is ALL about Bobo.

Well I can't deny that is a good way of thinking things, but it is unrealistic only in the way I will explain next. How can you determine who is going to be president and who is going to control congress?

So during presidential election year, I don't think most predicted Obama would be president and that Dems would sweep the house and senate.

Well I am doing my part as an "slightly liberal" person to get rid of Reid in Nevada in 2010. I can't say anyone else will.

The sad part is when 2004 rolled around the Conservative/Republiocan crew didn't seem to have a problem keeping the Republican congress in charge. So what were your feelings then? Did you vote against the Republican congress then? Or just let it go?

When I vote, I generally ask myself one question about the office I am about to vote for: Am I happy with what that body or office is doing for me, my family and of course my country. If an incumbent is running and I answer, Yes , I am happy, I will vote for the incumbent. If I answer NO, I am disappointed, then I will vote against the incumbent. Notice that I made no mention of party. If that office for which I am about to vote is open, then I will study to various candidates knowing full well they will say anything to get elected. I give you Bobo, who was on all sides of every issue.

I started out early in life as a loyal Democrat. I got discussed with their way of doing business.

I then thought I was a Republican. That did not work out all that well.

I am now a proud member of my own political party: CLAPP!

Libertarian
American
Progressive
Party

CLAPP for short.

Our motto is: CLAPP. Get it and pass it on.

We (there is only me) are a party of pragmatic Constitutionalists.

Ah well I am not happy with people saying gay marriage should be illegal, since I had a brother die marriageless even though he was commited for over 35 years to his partner.

I am not happy with those that make religion the priority of others.

I am not happy with those that give priority to those that are religious.

I am not happy with those that would let poor die to to save them some dollars on their paycheck.

I am not happy with those that say "I have mine, **** everyone else".

I am not happy with those that say "because you are poor, it must be because you want to be" Because I know this not to be true in all cases.

I am not happy with those that dictate morality to me and say that smoking pot is bad, yet it is quite legal with society if I die drinking too much alcohol.

I am not happy with those that say I can't smoke at a restaurant because they (not the owners) have deemed it to be that way.

I am not happy when people don't want to take care of our poor.

I am not happy when people feel they have the money and therefore should have the power to decide how our country goes forward just because they have money.

I am not libertarian, I am not Republican, I am not a Dem. I am my own.

You can have the Clap proudly for whatever I care, but I choose not to label myself loyal to any party
