    The women were, I think reporters. But no, they did not need papers and the law states that Non-Muslims are not covered by Sharia Law, thus the police were out of line.

    Right, the Jizya or Dhimmi, it is called one or the either depending on the country.

    Let's be precise. I said Islamic fundamentalists, not terrorists or extremists. People must understand the distinction between these three concepts if they are to appreciate the nuance of Islamic culture and governenance.

    Haha, maybe it's just my crazy foreigner ways, but I've always said "pants" rather than "trousers"! It works fine when I'm at home, but when I talk with people in the UK and stuff, they always think I'm talking about underpants. Some clothing-related conversations can get awkward.
