Palin says she's not leaving politics

Palin says she's not leaving politics

WASHINGTON Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she's not only staying involved in national politics, but she plans to jump back into the national scrum when she leaves office at the end of the month.

The former Republican vice presidential nominee said she plans to write a book, campaign for political candidates from coast to coast even Democrats who share her views on limited government, national defense and energy independence and build a right-of-center coalition.

"I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of their party label or affiliation," she said during an interview published Sunday in The Washington Times.

    Good for her!
Love her or Hate her she has the reins now.

One of the only real faces in US politics that people can believe..hopefully even if she isn't personally propelled to President or whatnot..she will help set a tone that will change US politics from the hate based politics of Obama to the politics of 30 years ago .

Sarah Palin is a foolish woman and having QUIT in the middle of a job is shameful. She should be ashamed and her apologists should be embarrassed for their blind support of such a terrible public servant.

I get the feeling that the foolishness was quitting her job too early. Love her or hate her, she is a polarising candidate and that seems to work for conservatives. I just get the feeling that she is going to peak too early. She should have waited until 2011. That's ONLY two years away.

That being said, I can't understand the perpetual electins you guys have down in the US. I kind of like it taking no more than two months from dissolution of Parliament to new government beings worn in. It allows the government to do stuff rather than talk about what they're going to do after they're elected.

An equivalent statement would be Bernie Madoff saying that he is not leaving the investment business - LOL.

Stick a fork in Palin. She is done.

Everyone who goes anywhere in politics "QUITS" Part of the job.
The reasons she gave where valid and sound.

But none of you care about that..if it don't fit on a sign and isn't simplistic- forget about it.

Re: Palin says she's not leaving politics

If it is true that Governor Palin's 'higher power' is a Presidential run then I gave the woman too much credit when she initially quit. I didn't believe that even she was foolish enough to believe that this abdication will aid her 2012 prospects. Then again, I never have seen her as a serious candidate for any kind of Federal office anyway.

    Dear GOP,
We need an opposition party in this country, please, for the love of Jesus/Buddha/Yaweh/Shiva'a/Confucius do not nominate this woman as your Presidential candidate.

    Sincerely,
    NortheastCynic

Seriously Palin, or as I affectionately call her Igloo Girl, will attract attention since she is either loved unconditionally by her apologists or held in absolute disdain by her detractors.
