Re: Palin says she's not leaving politics

Palin would be crushed in a national election. She, unlike Barack Obama, doesn't possess the ability to obsfucate her lack of experience and expertise with rhetorical brilliance. That, and the media loves Barack Obama. Palin would be scrutinized with an intensity never before witnessed in politics and Obama would, once again, be given a free ride to the White House. The GOP shouldn't hitch their 2012 wagon to Palin.

However, on the chance that you do NOT agree with my first response, here is my reasoning:

Do you, or do you not, agree that someone can better themselves?

If you agree, does this not mean that what someone becomes is more important than their past?

    Thus my response.

This is, of course, not to say that someone's past ever ceases to be a factor.
Yes I do believe that a person through experience and education can better themselves...perhaps Palin will eventually learn to be humble and honest about her motivations and actually regain the trust of the People of Alaska that she just dissed..

For diehards to continue to imply that she is at this point credible enough to hold any national office what so ever is just plain insulting...infact she has been nothing but insulting since McCain led her out at the Rep. Nat. Funeral.

President Obama was not given a free ride to anywhere...

Thank Bush and Cheney for the failures of your party that the nation found disgusting. Palin and McCain just continued to feed that disgust.

Depends on how you spin what she has done.

Of course, the same can be said about any public figure.

What are Palin's experiences thus far?

A failed attempt at being VP.

    1/2 term as Gov. quitting.

She has a long way to crawl up.

Oh, I've been paying attention. We've been told, incessantly, that we're racists for criticizing PBO. Also, the media gave him more slack than any other presidential candidate in the history of the country.

I'm not accusing you of anything, but are you claiming there was no racism involved in the campaign?

    Being critical is one thing..

The media was up bush's ass from 9/11/01 too the point it became apparent he screwed up the whole show. Which didn't take long but who's fault was that?
