Millions do every single day.
In fact the Orange Oil is eaten and used in numerous ways.
Any serious usage of it in tire production would be a negative not a positive. Very similar to the Corn fuel thing..or electric fuel thing...or battery fuel thing.
For those people who eat oranges, they can do with their peels whatever they want to. However, do you have any idea of how many grocery stores there are in the United States? Literally tens of thousands, and they all stock orange juice. The factories that produce the juice also produce thousands of pounds of orange peels DAILY, which at the present time, are thrown out as garbage. This makes all those peels a valuable resource with which to make tires. It's essentially a no-brainer. Use garbage wisely, and import that much less crude oil from other nations. What isn't there to get about that? It's very simple.
