Al Franken became a senator on Tuesday, completing the transformation from comedian to politician.

And I just happened to obtain a **snicker** "copy" **snicker** of his acceptance speech. LOL.

“I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog-gone it, people like me.”

That remains to be seen, and dog-gone it, people don't believe you.

Congratulations to Franken on finally being seated. I'm sure a lot of folks from Minnesota are glad that chapter from the recent election is finally over.

Congratulations.

This is what a pussified, morally bankrupt country finally resorts to.

Or at least part of the country has.

I'm glad the Dems got their filibuster majority. The days of blaming the GOP are over. This is Jimmy Carter all over again. He gave us Reagan, Obama will give us the next great conservative leader.

Yep! It's the Left's show, now. it's time for the country to see what Liberalism is really about. There aren't enough people that remember Carter well enough to know that a far Left government is a bad thing.

This time, we have Jimmy Carter on steroids.

Exactly. We as a nation are going to suffer from this for a little while, but it's going to be for the best in the long run. Hell, it took the Dems 12 years to get back in the White House after Carter. Then, when they got Slick Willy, they lost the Congress in a landslide. It's a good time to be a conservative. A whole lot of "I told you so" 's on the way. It's just a shame that our country has to suffer yet again to learn this lesson.

Unfortunately, it probably won't take long. We're just begging to get hit with another terrorist attack at home. This president makes Jimmy Carter look like he had a spine.

BTW, now Alec Baldwin is wanting to run for Congress. Liberals will probably vote him in, too. LOL

They'd vote for a pile of dung as long as it was produced by a donkey.

Why do you hate America?

Did I just hear somebody say "Ron Paul"?

Someone who endorses an isolationist foreign policy shouldn't be considered for the presidency. Ron Paul has a lot of great ideas, but this stance of his is not only unfeasible but dangerous.

I only hate half of it. Actually, I don't hate it, but I don't have an ounce of respect for it.
Am I hearing correctly? Did you say you don't respect America?

It has become all too easy for voters to fall for the lies of those running for office. The bigger the lie the
easier it is these days to get a gullible public to be drawn in to it as has become all too clear in the last
6 months as The Liar In Chief Obama's lies have become all too obvious. What lies you say? Well that's
easy. Obama vows to halve budget deficit
[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaXdluds9L0"]YouTube - Obama vows to halve budget deficit[/nomedia]

Then he produces his first budget the dwarfs anything that Bush ever did and does nothing to reduce
the debt.

Candidate Obama Sept. 12, 2008: "I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."

Then he comes up with Cap And Trade which will raise taxes and or costs on everything sold in the
Nation.
Is Stewart Smally a loser? Yes as a Radio Talk Show host He's not only a failure but he helped to bring down the whole Air America network with his and the rest of the on air people who don't have a message worthy of drawing an audience.
As a lying politician he is a success just as is his hero the Muslim in Chief Obama. And don't give any of the lies about how the Amateur in Chief is a Christian.
In Obaba's own words while talking with George Stephanopoulos.
Obama: "You're absolutely right that John McCain has not ah talked about my Muslim faith and you're absolutely right that is not som".
Stephanopoulos: "Your Christian faith".
Obama: "My Christian faith".
Classic Freudian slip. A Freudian slip is defined as; A verbal mistake that is thought to reveal an unconscious belief, thought, or emotion. In other words the truth.
His lies you ask?
"Mar 15, 2008 ... "My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it".
Barack Hussein Obama Extreme leftist
Then he pushes Cap in Trade that ill raise taxes and or the cost of every item sold in America.

January 2008... San Francisco Chronicle interview: Obama said: "Energy Prices Will Necessarily Skyrocket Under My Cap and Trade Plan"

And yes like you I used some pejorative terms to describe some people but I back it with facts. In Obama's case I use his own words.
If Obama and those who back him get their way all of America becomes the true LOSER.

Not the controlling faction, but they hardly represent America. Venezuela perhaps, but not America.

Don't confuse the current administration with America. When you do that, you're basically saying that a country is no better than their leader at the time. Yes, we screwed up when we elected this guy, but America is still a free and great country. At least for the time being.

I hope that you are not attempting to infer that any of the donkeys in elephant suits that have recently been in office or has run for office are what you would prefer. If so, I have news for you. They are NOT Conservative.

Umm, no, not at all. And I do know that they aren't conservative. Bush was one of the most fiscally liberal presidents in modern history.

However, that does not make Ron Paul a good candidate. In fact, your point is pretty much irrelevant.

Well, Ron Paul isn't a treehugger, anyway. Gotta give him that.

One more clown to join the other ninety-nine in the Senate. No surprise there.

You must think we were literally born yesterday. We are just beginning to crawl out of the ****hole that conservatives dug us into over eight years. Unfortunately and obviously, you NEVER learn.
