    .

Heh, I figured that out a while back. Just for the record, if you're a conservative you hide it well.

Most of the time, anyway. Once in a while you do come out on the right side of things...

This isn't even Congress. This is a Pennsylvania state legislator proposing a state law.

Thank goodness this dumbass is here to protect us from Satan and all his minions that are trying to turn our children gay via RFID chip.

Are you for or against identity chips being forcefully implanted? If you are against it then why give a **** about the reason? Why should you and your fellow liberals mock those who wish ban such things?

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

HARRISBURG - Invasion of privacy is an issue that really gets under State Rep. Babette Josephs' skin.
That's why the Philadelphia Democrat introduced a bill, passed unanimously last week by the House, that would ban the forced implantation of computer chips in humans.
Maybe if that state passes it then hopefully other states will follow suite.

Although my worry is that even if all the states make a law that bans the forced implanting of ID chips they will find some other way to get people to implant them in themselves by making it a requirement attached to something else(licenses, passports, business licenses and etc). For this reason I alone I think "forced" needs to be clearly defined in order to prevent the government from implanting id chips into people. I think maybe an outright ban on implanting chips maybe needed just so some scumbag in office doesn't find a loophole to force people to implant the chips.

I could care less if technology is not infallible or uncrackable, perceived incompetence of the government or system is no reason to ignore the potential threat.

This is not a personal attack but meant only to inform the uninitiated ina few things I deem of the utmost importance.
No one should ever feel obligated to follow the misguided bevy of non thinking individuals who like to poke fun at things they do not or can not understand whether it is from lack of intellectual ability, or education in the facts. Those who like to poke fun at people who have claimed to see "Black Helicopters" fail to take into consideration that with the exception of the Marine and Navy choppers nearly if not all Army choppers including Black Hawks and Apaches are painted a dark green and when seen in the night sky appear to be black whether they have lights on or off. This makes them harder to see. What they are up to when seen is up for speculation. They might be on some clandestine operation or just a training mission and their present misunderstood.
As for the potential for misuse of tracking devises on the public the potential for abuse is real and goes against the freedoms we currently enjoy. These devises could eventually interfere with ones personal choices of how we live what we buy and who we choose to deal with on a daily basis. With the current trends toward more intrusion into our lives from a Government and individuals in it that clearly believe they know what's best for you the threat becomes more obvious almost by the day.
We were warned by President Eisenhower to beware of the industrial military complex and by Sir Winston Churchill of the Nanny state both were sound warnings we need to pay closer attention to in today's world than ever before as threats from outside forces are being used to erode our freedoms and intrude on our personal lives ostensibly for our own security and well being.
Remember what Benjamin Franklin said: "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety".
Those words like the others I mentioned are things we as Americans must never forget and pay close attention to every day.

Again, because it obviously needs to be repeated, there is a difference in being suspicious (which I don't fault people for being) and downright paranoid.

If the government were going to install tracking chips on people, they wouldn't even mention it. They would just do it secretly. A bill doesn't stop it. Ever heard of black ops? Do you think congress approves ALL black ops?

This bill is being done off of paranoia.
