Gay West Point grad testifies before Army

Just reposting my questions to see if the OP is able to answer them. I find these social experiments regarding the various levels of denial and misdirection to be fascinating.

Erm. I posted it in response to YOUR direct question asking if anyone thought it was okay. If it has nothing to do with reality, then why ask the ****ing question?

Here, just to refresh your apparently failing memory:

This is the question you asked:
Do you think it's a good idea for males and females to share showers? It's a yes, or no question.

So, why did you ask a question that you feel has nothing to do with reality?

Okay, let me just get this straight for clarification here.

You want "something to back up" the fact that gay men are not women?

I'd still like to know where I questioned his sexuality.

Are you talking about the post where he said that someone suggested that he sucked **** even though nobody did?

I guess. He just mentioned again that I questioned his sexuality. If it was that post I made about a "purty mouth" he obviously isn't that up on his pop culture.

...And then answered it yourself, putting words in his mouth. It's apparent you're not looking for an honest debate.

Honest debate? Saying that I hate gays is honest debate? How about accusations that I suck ****, or that I should be gang raped? Does that fall into the category of, "honest debate"?

Deflections now? Are you really going to use the "but they did it too so that makes it okay" defense?

What is ok? I never made any of those comments toward anyone on this thread. So much for, "honest", debate, because you're being very dishonest at this piont.

I challenge you to point where I accused someone of sexual acts, or that they should be raped. We'll be waiting.

To think of all those delicate little flowers having to.....shudder.... allow a gay guy to see their jewels.

What if they didn't measure up? The horror. Oh, the horror!
Yeah, that's what it is. We're afraid our weiners are too small. Great logic.

Again, you're deflecting and creating straw men.

I thought he was trying to say straight men = women since he is so worried about their tender little sensibilities being leered at by all the big bad wolves.

So in this thread, he has suggested that strait men are like women, and gay men are like women? I think he is mightily confused about gay and strait people.

This is an interesting question.

I have not been in the military for a long time now. I still don't think DADT was a bad idea as it worked for us at the time. To be honest we did childish and cruel things to gay men when we found them. It was not right then, but we were 19 and 20 year old dumb asses.

Back then it worked to make us (homophobic at the time) comfortable and saved gay men allot of trouble in the long run (just my opinion of the times.)

This is a new time and it seems to be more excepted, so maybe it would be OK in the long run.

Now days I have friends who are gays and lesbians, and if I knew then what I know now I don't think I would care to be honest. I don't have to approve or even support the life style to love and respect them as human beings.

I repeat: NO ONE ****ING CARES ABOUT THIS MEN AND WOMEN SHOWERING TOGETHER TRIP YOU'VE BEEN ON. GAY MEN SHOWERING WITH STRAIGHT MEN IS STILL MEN SHOWERING WITH MEN. PERIOD.

I'd love to see him try to defend kicking out linguistic specialists working at Langley because they were gay.

I suspect that's why post 119 has been ignored by him. Has he produced a single decent argument yet?

I would love to see you show us where there were linguists at Lengley fired because they were gay. Good luck with that one, sport.

As for the second paragraph of your personal attack. WTF is there to disagree with in post 119?

I've produce tons of arguemnts and been called a **** sucker in response. Is that the best you ****ers can do???

Generally, it's unwise to say that when there's a thing called "Google." But it's a common sign of such dumb statements to be made by ideological extremists.

Have you noticed that a wide variety of people with different beliefs all think you're nuts?

But, none fired at CIA? Right?

my Bad. Post 116.

Yep!

Have you noticed that I don't give a **** what you think? There's as many people, who are more qualified to opine, that do agree with me.

Compelling argument. Keep up the good work.

Most people who rant on about how it's not an issue to have openly gay men in the military have never served themselves.

Actually. I'm fairly new here, but I've read a good many of apdst's posts and I've never seen anything he has written to lead me to believe he is nuts. I also haven't seen anyone else that agrees with you about him.

Do you have a specific example from your time in the military where banning gays from serving openly would have helped?

Like I posted back a page it made a difference.

Take a bunch of homophobic young men hopped up on testosterone and typical tough guy army bull****. Now throw a few homosexuals into the mix.

Back in the 80's when I was active RA DADT was a good idea.

As I said before maybe times and peoples attitudes have changed enough to where it is no longer necessary.

First off, if you think that repealing DADT is going to result in a coming out party for all the gays in the military, you're navie to say the least. The fact of the matter is that many soldiers, though granted not all of them, view grown men who sodomize each other as unnatural freaks. Maybe this isn't an "evolved" opinion, but it's just reality.

There are many situations in the Army where you're in close quarters and being close to an openly gay man would be akward. There was a guy in my basic training who had a habit of staring at guy's penises in the shower. Finally a dude called him out on it and he ended up getting the living **** kicked out of him.

There are gay men in all branches of the service. Some are pretty much known, some are completely secret. The fact is it does not serve anyone's interest to have them broadcast their sexuality. This is just another instance of liberals trying to shove the gay lifestyle down people's throats and make them accept it as legitimate and respectable.

Liberals are making the same mistake with this issue that they do with everything else. They believe that striving to implement their ideological view of how the world should be is more important than whether or not it can actually be applied in a real-life situation. I honestly believe that liberalism is a mental disorder.
