Gay West Point grad testifies before Army

It has nothing to do with 'making people happy'. It has to do with civil rights. Heterosexual men and women aren't expected to "don't ask, don't tell", so homosexuals shouldn't be either.

Please, God, explain to me how homosexual's rights are being violated by DADT? Can't wait!!!

Um, well, **** me, are you saying that all gays are sexual deviants?!?!??!

Do you seriously wanna push this one? Huh? Do ya?

HE was saying gays were sexual deviants, my god man read.

Well like opinions everyone has them and I don't think you are worthy of wearing the uniform.
The men I've gone to war with don't feel that way. I'm not going to lose any sleep over your opinion.

HE was saying gays were sexual deviants, my god man read.

Um, no, YOU, sir interprested his comments to mean that sexual deviants are homosexuals and vice-versa. My god man, read!!

Bulll****, he said this:

I've got a little non-PC answer for ya. How about this. Sodomy is disgusting and I don't want to serve with a man who would perform it on another man. I don't trust his character.

The context is there. You choose to ignore it.

Are heterosexuals held to the same standard?

God-damn right! I served in the military for 13 years and I was never asked what my sexual preference was.

Look, you're starting to become and embarressment to you branch of arms. Perhaps it's time to let it go?

No he means you shouldn't be allowed to be affectionate to a female publicly or talk about your relationship AT ALL.

To answer his previous question, no heterosexuals are not held to the same standard as gays.

You say that after claiming to have retired from the military? Did you ever hear of PDA?

The only thing embarrassing is your supporting a guy that is insulting all gays that have and are serving in the military.

Perhaps, you should stop while you are behind.

Did you ever feel like you weren't allowed to talk to your military buddies about your girlfriends and/or your sex life?

PDA doesn't cover holding hands out of uniform. DUH.

PDA doesn't cover talking about your relationship to another soldier. DUH.

My god you are falling waaaaay behind on this one.

Did you ever feel like you weren't allowed to talk to your military buddies about your girlfriends and/or your sex life?

Yes! It was/is called, "conduct un-becoming". However, DADT doesn't mean that one can't confess to his/her comrades that he/she is gay. It only means that the chain of command can't ask about one's sexual preference and therefore one can't be discharged for being gay.

You don't fully comprehend DADT. Do you?

You can't hold hands with your loved one out of uniform if you are gay, while heterosexuals can. Hence they are not equal.

DADT doesn't cover holding hands out of uniform, either. DUHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

What part of Don't ASK don't TELL don't all you ****er understand?!?!? I mean, damn, ya'll makin' it hard. Ya really are!

And, as a career military person'age, you know, and I know that public displays of affection, while in uniform are a violation of Army regulations. You retired from the Army. You do know that. Right?

Yes! It was/is called, "conduct un-becoming".

Oh come on. None of your buddies ever talked about their sexual exploits with women? None of them ever mentioned their significant others? You never witnessed any of them kissing girls?

Were any of them punished for any of these things?

You are wrong. If a gay guy even mentions his boyfriend to his buddies, and his commanders find out about it, he can be discharged.

Wrong. You're way out in right-field on this one. 75% of Americans believe that gays should be allowed to serve openly...including 64% of self-described conservatives, 64% of self-described Republicans, and 62% of self-described evangelical Protestants. Even 50% of military veterans support allowing gays to serve openly.

An ABC news poll, huh. That's about as reputable as the Huffington Post. Since you're so into polls, here is one for you to check out.

Sure, but no physical interaction ever occurred while in uniform.

I'm wrong? How do you know I'm wrong? Speaking from personal experience?
