In some ways, I like novelty politicians. At least you are getting something different. Not like they are going to do more damage than a regular politician.

I don't know if I'd trust them to choose another one. God only knows what tv/movie star would be next on the list.

    Sorry...

The people of Minnesota have spoken...
When you can't win an election outside of the south or mountain west, the answer to your problems is NOT "more of the same, but LOUDER!!!"

Interesting situation having That and Franken on the other side. The entertainment value of the Senate would go into orbit. I could just hear the chanting of the ditto heads of the Senate. Mitch McConnell doing the ditto head dance in drag. Franken may even say some funny stuff in between lashing out about drug abuse.
I do not recall the Viet Cong asking me if I was a natural born or Naturalized American before they shot at me, they just shot at all of us f107HyperSabr

That's how I felt in 2004 when Bush got re-elected. I was stunned how I had underestimated the stupidity of the American people. I'm glad you know how I felt back then.

Everyone can agree that most people are stupid. Nobody can agree on who those people are.
