Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

Rasmussen Reports: The Most Comprehensive Public Opinion Data Anywhere

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 31% of the nation's voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-three percent (33%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. That matches the lowest level yet recorded (see trends).

Over the past two weeks, the Presidential Approval Index has stayed in a narrow range between +2 and -2. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Democrats Strongly Approve while 60% of Republicans Strongly Disapprove.

Fifty percent (50%) favor passage of the health care reform proposal being crafted by Obama and Congressional Democrats. Forty-five percent (45%) are opposed.

=========================================================

This to me means there is hope that Americans are coming to know the truth about the "Amateur in Chief" Obama and will soon be in numbers enough to stop his policies before they completely destroy the Country as he seems to be on his way to doing.

Candidate Obama Sept. 12, 2008: "I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."
January 2008... San Francisco Chronicle interview: Obama said: "Energy Prices Will Necessarily Skyrocket Under My Cap and Trade Plan"
"Mar 15, 2008 ... "My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it".
Barack Hussein Obama

"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing—after they’ve tried everything else".
Sir Winston Churchill

The question did not in any way describe the plan as it stands to date. It was simply presented as the health care reform proposed by President Obama and Congressional Democrats.

That is disturbing. These idiots don't even know what they're supporting!:doh

Yeh, the country would be so much better if we had just elected John McCain and Sarah Palin. Or better yet, if Bush and Cheney could somehow hold a third term. "sigh".

No. Never said that. There's no difference between any of them. McCain thinks Obama is doing "a great job". I didn't vote for that asshole either.:doh

Right, no difference at all between John McCain, George Bush and Barrack Obama. Politicians are all crooked. What a shame the president has to be a politician, instead of an ordinary patriotic American like.....I don't know....Joe the Plumber.

It's all they have. All the other socialist bull**** falls right in line with their hopes and dreams for the USSA.

They're very similar. They're big government statists looking only to expand the size, scope, and power of the government. Hell Obama hasn't done much better a job than Bush. We have a hell of a lot more room for improvement.

My Greatness is not the topic of this conversation. Please control yourself.

I asked a question. Since you reject the Obama administration and refuse to support it on principal, who would you be pleased to have in the White House instead? John McCain? J the P? Rush Limbaugh? Newt Gingrich? You are quite vocal in your dismissal of the current occupant....who would you prefer there?

Nope, none of them.... I do like Fred Thompson, I think he would be most Reaganesque.

You made a dumb comment about joe the plumber then threw a tantrum. What do you want from me?

Another amazing post by the Master of Non-Sequitur!

1994 was a good year.
Anyone remember 1994?

What makes you think that? Bush had an Approval Index of -30 and the people still never took the initiative to stop his policies.

Reaganesque - looking like you belong on a dollar bill but with no clue about how to run the country. Yeh, Thompson is Reaganesque. And you are a brave man to actually admit you would prefer someone like that to Obama.

I don't remember the "dumb comment" or the "tantrum". I must have blacked out for a moment. I remarked that Joe the Plumber is an "ordinary, patriotic American". You disagree?

There were other people running for President besides John McCain and Barack Obama.

Really, weren't the 80's one of the most prosperous times in our history? Did not Reagan put an end to the cold war?

What has obama the bobo done?

Please by all means, list his successes thus far.

Depends on how sarcastic you are.

Both your first points are debatable. Obama has been in office 6 months. Asking what he has done when he has been in office only a little over 10 % of his term is disingenuous.

Grow up please. please? This "as long as we are better than the republicans, we should be just fine" is no excuse to draft piss-poor policies.

.

No, the 80's were not prosperous, the economy was a shambles under Reagan. Unemployment in the middle of his term was higher than it is now.

As for "winning the cold war", there is something to the fact that the Soviet Union was tricked into believing America could field a Star Wars defense, and spent all their money trying to keep up. That they bought into Reagan's loony scheme may be the high point of his legacy. As for comparing Reagan to Obama? I'd say Obama is already on his way to far surpass the Gipper.

This whole "it's too early to critisize THE ONE" line of arguing is disingenuous.

And no the 1st two points are not debatable if you are not a revisionist. ;)

Uhm reagan took office in 82, look at your chart see how that squiggly line shoots down?

The rate now is 9.1% and its going up. Reagan's went from 10 under carter to below 6%... FAIL

Yeah, thats a GOOD thing and lends evidence to my claim, not yours.

I wonder what Obama's squiggly will look like!

So you are conceding that Reagan did indeed win the cold war? Thanks.

I do remember that year. It was a good year. I also remember that everything that came out of that year was squandered by the Bushneviks.

All owned by the bankers. Bush paid the banks, Mccaine acts liberal so as to be in a position to pay the banks and well ...Obama...we all saw that bank payout fiasco.

Yeah..they are the same.
