I have a silverado 1500, not jacked up one bit, no macho mods...
and the silverado doesn't get driven much, pretty much only when I want to haul something. Those who have the 2500/3500 4x4 and use them mostly to drive to and from work are worse than macho, they are stupid...

Good hunting....if I said such a thing there will be logic behind it.

If you think our citizens need them perhaps you should explain why we do...
are you afraid of your own government? are you paranoid? are you a conspiracy nut? if so, all the more reason to disarm you personally....
we should never let the stupid be better armed than the average policeman.

There is no logic behind disarming law abiding citizens of this country.

Last time I checked police were rocking out M4s/M16s/MP5s and had much better equipment than the average citizen.

At this very moment in time, you're proving my point about you being liberal in your gun grabbing ideals. Which only solidifies my stance on your question about why jerry actually "needs" a knife.

I tried that with my cat years back, using a flashlight, tho. I ran the light in circles on the carpet in front of me, and had the cat going in circles with the light. It was fun until he ripped open my big toe.

I am all for RESPONSIBLE people having guns....even assault rifles....even tho there is no NEED for them. People who have them just WANT them, and that is OK, again, if they are responsible, not mentally deranged, not having a criminal record, etc.
My son and son-n-law like to watch the hunting shows a lot.
Have you EVER seen one of those shows where an AK47 or other assualt type weapon was used for hunting? Not likely, REAL hunters use sporting rifles.
If you want to continue your diatribe, start a new thread. I will be happy to watch you argue yourself into more corners...
BTW, I own 2 semi-automatic weapons....want to guess what kind?

This has always puzzled me.

My AR15 will outshoot just about any comparable varmit rifle, especially past 200 yards. Same with my M1A and just about any 'standard' hunting rifle.

If you want the best tool for the job, why would you -not- consider an 'assault weapon'?

Who's to decide who is stupid, and who is not... According to you, I shouldn't own any firearms.. cause I point out the ridiculousness of your stances.

And according to you an ak47 is more firepower than the average policeman carries. :rofl

Don't know the why of it, just never saw a hunting show where one was used, not saying that there is anything right or wrong about it.

Personally, the only animals I have ever killed was a bunch of rabbits in the Idaho desert during one of the population explosions. Dang things were everywhere!!!

god you are a slow thinker,
the average cop may have more firepower in his squad car, but he CARRIES only a pistol. Now, down in Mexico, where citizens are not allowed to own personal weapons, the cops DO carry heavy firepower. There the govt has reason to fear its citizens, and vice versa.
You don't get on my list of someone who shouldn't have weapons for the reason you give, that is false on your part. You should be banned from gun ownership because you are not too bright, and easily agitated, and paranoid.

You already proved my point with your assertion that joe citizen in this country shouldn't have more firepower than the police.

I'm still wading through your posts (sure are a lot of them) for the thread of which the title eludes me.. that you were backing up your stances on why citizens shouldn't own "assault rifles"... I believe it's one where you got smacked down by Goshin or another about the actual definition of an assault rifle.. then you went on about how hunters don't need them.. blah blah blah.. Much like you're doing right now.

actually, Idaho desert is very rocky, a .22 ricochets a bit much.....you have to be very careful you don't "cheney" one of your buddies...
we should have been using shotguns...
