Iran: Night Raids Terrorize Civilians

Erm, Israel is a close ally of US, Not UK.
The bilateral relationship
Britain is a good friend of Israel and has a long-standing historical engagement in the Middle East. We strongly support an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict and we are heavily involved in bringing stability and peace to the region. Our good relations with all the Middle Eastern players, our leading role in the EU and our close partnership with the US, make Britain a natural partner for Israel.
Your government argues otherwise.

Heh. News to me.

I have never seen Israel's PM in UK on my news shaking hands with our PM, what does he do? And British Governments know outspoken support for Israel means a kick in the election.

Well Israel doesn't count. I doubt many Brits see Israel as a 'ally ally'

Allies to me is US, Canada, Australia, alot of our commonwealth who have historical ties with United Kingdom

Laila, you're moving the goal posts--and not very well.

As for historical ties....have you forgotten the British Mandate in Palestine? The Anglo-Iranian oil company? The Siege of Khartoum?

By your definition, the entire Middle East including Iran is an ally of the UK.

I'm not being nasty to Israel, i'm just saying what i believe is true. I have rarely heard our PM ever say something positive about Israel or express support. Half the time UK's leader is condemning something Israel has done so how am i supposed to know we was apparentley allies?

Dammit, i knew our imperial past would bite us in the ass.

Historical ties which is enumerated within our commonwealth. Is Iran in our commonwealth? Nope
The Queen is not head of state to no one in ME.

Yes to the point plan and simple

If the PEOPLE, which are required for a succesfull revolution, aren't willing to perform a revolution themselves then what makes you think they will be able to uphold and maintain power after a forced revolution?

How has forced revolution worked for us in the past? Vietnam? Iraq?

Hmm so I guess you missed this little item but if it wasn't for the French providing the Continental Army arms and Soldier ten we Americans would still be subjects of Great Britain.

Israel and the US are BFF, but that doesn't mean Israel has no other friends.
In fact, all of Western Europe is allied with Israel,(Well, with the exception of Switzerland being neutral) with France and Czech-Republic being the most outspoken pro-Israeli nations in Europe, and Britain just after them.

Bad move, dude. The French did not do that until after Saratoga. They waited to make sure they were backing a winning horse.

Jeez ...
I didn't even know Brown has been Israel to pledge support.
BBC is slacking in its work

Western Europe is highly critical of Israel, Europe as a whole rarely ever do a statement in support of Israel. Infact Europe has refused to upgrade Israel economically and have backed the two state solution and an end to all settlements.
No offence but i did think US was only Israel's allies. I didn't think any other country in this world would defend Israel like US does or help Israel at its own expense.
Maybe Ethiopia, but you know. They are a joke so they don't really count.

I'll admit i'm wrong.
It appears Israel is on the list of UK's allies.

You are speaking about the EU here.
They are absolutely anti-Israel, and a bunch of poopie-heads when it comes to foreign relations.
and have backed the two state solution and an end to all settlements.
The US did that too.

No, there's no other country that shares the relation the US has with Israel.
But Israel has many allies, some because of shared interests and some because of military relations.
For example, Israel has a close relation with India, because it is its no. 1 military exporter.
Same goes for Georgia, and there are many more.

How kind of you to say so.

Oh ...
I think that is where i got myself confused
If the Lisbon treaty comes into force which it will, Israel will probably be no longer able to single out countries as allies as now Europe will be under only one spokeperson [God help us all when that occurs] and some decisions made on a majority vote

Turkey has military relations.
But would you call it an ally?

It depends on what you think an ally should do or is.

How kind of you to say so.

Sorry, It wasn't meant to be an insult. Just that ... they are not that powerful and are tied up with their neighbours to be of any use.

No not really I was pointing out with out the help of the French the United State would have never become what it has. Also one little point your correct on Saratoga but that was when the French committed troops prior to that they had been providing CA with Guns and Canons and some ships.

Not worried as I don't see this happening soon.
Turkey has military relations.

Turkey is an ally.
Their current PM is a populist douche who tried to satisfy the angry Turks in his nation by smearing Israel, but this was forgotten by now.
Israelis make a big part of Turkey's tourism income.

So'z Micronesia.
But both nations have a voice in the UN and both nations are the most pro-Israeli nations in the world. (Together with the US, and especially Micronesia.)

Lets not fool ourselves.
I wish it wasn't happening but Ireland will accept it in the next referedum this year ...

I have never heard of Micronesia, i learn new things every day
But arguably, no country matters in UN as much as the 5 who hold veto

The EU might change its foreign relations policy until it happens. (If it ever happens)

As celticlord pointed out the Continental Army was already fully devoted to a revolution. The fact that a Continental Army even existed should tell you that.Would the french have provided such aid if all we did was picket in the streets?

When the Irani people build an army/militia and start strategically fighting to bring down the current government then I will support giving them aid. Though we would still need to be careful encase their revolution fails. As it is though, the Irani people have shown no devotion to revolution and the ability to keep power if it is provided to them.

So you think its Americas place to FORCE a revolution in Iran?

I think that it is the responsibility of all free nations of the world to do what they can to support the desires of any oppressed people who long for freedom and basic human rights. If that means tough sanctions put in place by the UN and a coalition to enforce a blockade than yes.

Hmmmm so this is the situation:

So Iranian government terrorizes citizens equals bad, and U.S. MUST intervene. However, when in Darfur the government was killing thousands and displacing and terrorizing millions of people from their homes via genocide equals don't care, let someone else handle it.

Interesting.
Wasn't it the libs calling for us to take action in the Congo?

Wasn't it the libs calling for us to take action in the Congo?

Not me. You'll have to show me where the majority of liberals wanted us to take action in Congo.

Given what Iraq and Afghanistan have cost the U.S. and our economic situation, short of a country declaring war on us, I don't think we can afford to be getting involved anywhere else, including Iran.

Good then go to Iran and get working. What are you waiting for, get your ticket and make your way there NOW to help the revolution.

The only thing that matters is whether the election was rigged or not. Millions think it was. But regardless, the alternative choices weren't that great. Moussavi ran their nuke program if I'm correct.

Time to send in Mossad.

I agree.

It's time for the Masji militia to start facing the consequences of their actions.

The mossad's first two targets should be Aminademonjihad and the Ayetolietbowl.

Simply because a mistake was made in the past does not mean that it is the responsibility of the present to make sure they make the same mistake over again. It is this type of attitude that leads to inaction, and a lack of growth.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah Yazdi (Ahmadinejads spirtual advisor) and member of Irans Assembly of Experts (resposible for chosing the supreme leader) are both members of a group called Hojjatieh. They are Twelvers who believe that they can pave the way for the return of the Mahdi (Tweltfh Imam). They intend to do this by plunging the world into chaos.

Yazdi has publicly endorsed a military nuclear program in Iran. Yazadi sanctioned the recent election. Along with Moitaba Khamenei they intend to eliminate Rafsanjani (Head of the Assembly of Experts).

Many of you have no idea what so ever what I am talking about here. I am talking about a coup. It is taking place as we speak. These men are a danger and a threat to the entire world. They want to bring about Armageddon.

The elections in Iran threatend there plan and they will stop at nothing to see it through.

So when are you heading to Iran to help? Or are you just wanting to send others to do what you want done?
