I do live in it. I raised two upstanding young men it. I run my business in it. I paid off my ex wife's mortgage in it.

When I was 18, I raised my right hand and swore an oath to defend its Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, as a United States Marine (MOS 2531, Field Radio Operator).

With the exception of the "living" bit, all of this is stuff you have yet to do, and some of it is stuff you will never do.

So, again, who is this "we" you speak of? Because whomever the "we" is that will be "hitting" Iran, of a certainty it will not be you.

Unless we "hit" Iran 3+ years from now or more.

Stop being so freaking personal. I don't give a s**t i'm not a marine who talks to people, i dont give a crap i dont have 2 sons and i dont have a business yet.
If you want to be personal and keep this focused on you and me, go right ahead. but do it elsewhere. this is supposed to be about iran, and stopping whats happening in iran. if you're too much of a wimp to condone fighting in iran, we have the U-Q9 combat drone or something with that designation. it can fly from afghanistan, or Iraq ( i think) and it can kill amadadenijad, khamenei, and a lot of other clerics, before they know we're coming. authoritarian regimes waver for some time when they suddenly become headless.

    No, it's not.

This is about a portion of the Iranian people protesting/rioting/rebelling against the entities you mention.

Discussions about what the USA will or will not do is a related issue which is also under duscussion.

If we just up and killed the religious leader and his puppets, we would likely have the people of Iran pissed at us, and besides, others would likely step into their place. A change in the government system in Iran might prevent such incidents from occuring again.

yeah, the 20 percent of the people would get mad at us. Maybe 20 percent more would'nt care, and then the 60% left would love, and hail and celebrate us.

THE POINT IS THAT THE CHANGE IN GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN DENIED BY THE "ENTITIES" AFOREMENTIONED. THEY ARE DENYING THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM, AND FOR THAT REASON WE SHOULD REMOVE THEM FROM POWER BEFORE THE PEOPLE WHO WANT PEACE AND FREEDOM ALL DIE.

And who the hell are YOU to speak of killing?

    Seriously.

You are a boy. By your own words, you're not even old enough to shave every day.

You speak of killing and dying as if they were trivial things. They are not.

Yes, what is happening in Iran is a horrific wrong. Yes, it is a monstrous injustice. Yes, it is Islamic heresy perpetrated by the Islamic Republic on the Iranian people. All this is true.

Yet all this does not give boys leave to call upon men to take up arms and set about killing and dying.

you are so hypocritical. Yes, they are dying, but we shouldn't do anything. Maybe the word is pathetic.....

Again, stop making this personal. This is about Iran not you and me, so stop bringing in assumptions about me.

What would you rather do, huh? Sit back and wait for thousands more to die? Who are YOU to say they shouldn'tbe helped, or prevented??????????

Not sure how patient I am, but I'm willing to wait at least a little bit myself.
