Well, Will, I don't see you trotting yourself over there to gather information so that it meets whatever arbitrary standard you set for its dismissal each time you are presented information that is inconvenient to your apologetics.

I think many of us would be happy to chip in to pay your way to Iran so you can shoot your own video, if you like.

Unfortunately and due to the method in which Bush was treated by the drive-by media and Liberals, I will never support ANY military venture that places young American military troops at risk EVER.

The American people have spoken and clearly agreed with Osama Bin Laden; we are a spineless nation filled with spoiled brats who clearly have no clue what sacrifice is with the mentality of a fast food drive thru.

As far as I am concerned, there will never be any future support from me for ANY President who sends our young men and women into harms way regardless of the cause until the American public becomes informed, can support such a serious commitment without the demagoguery and ends their narcissistic notions about REALITY.

It would be hard for "the people" to revolt against an armed Government when they don't have the same 2nd ammendment rights to keep and bear arms that we have.

Just a reminder to those who think the ONLY people who should be armed in our societies should be the Government.

I think cops would be a little more scared to beat innocents to death with a small percent of the population getting inflamed enough to take 12 gauge to a oppressor. But, I think the key to this battle is going to be to make the police feel guilty. Beg them to join the peoples sides while telling them over and over that their paycheck is buying your silence. If this is even partially true it's time to get involved. As I said in another thread, assault rifles, submachine guns, pistols, grenades, anti-tank weapons. We have stockpiles ComBloc weapons sitting on their border. Put it to good use.
Previous Presidents who "armed" resistance in other nations were met with outrage and charges of interventionism/imperialism by their political opponents.

It's a distance and quality thing. Cell phone cameras weren't really meant to be full fledged camers. With cell phones, the least bit of movement, even just breathing, is going to distort the picture. One of the other problems for the protesters, when they upload the videos, it's through an ever narrowing pipeline as the gov't tries to shut everything down. Right now they're going through all kinds of hoops to even get these videos out, multiple emailings, ghost sites, proxy servers..... Each of those, depending on the quality, is going to add more to the distortion.

Yes, they will feel guilty and stop beating and killing those they oppress.

This is about as naive as Obama thinking that by NOT coming out with a strong statement condemning their actions, the leaders of Iran would not blame us as meddling in their affairs; yet after his obtuse statements, Iran's leaders did indeed blame the evil empire America for what is happening in Iran.
