It would appear he suffered the same fate as Mr Simpson.
You do realize that MJ had a very good case in both trials and probably would've won, except that he was legally advised to pay the accusers off?

If he probably would have won, I doubt anyone would have "legally advised" him to pay out $20 million. (I found that amount for one of the accusers).

Are you saying he was advised or coerced? And if MJ was so hell bent on doing exactly what his lawyers told him to do, why on earth did he admit to having little boys in his bed in the Bashir interview? Did you see that disturbing piece of HIStory? While he's holding the 13 year old boy's hand (whose parents later brought charges against MJ), he retells the story of how the boy didn't want to sleep in his bed, and MJ said if he loved him, he would sleep there. In. His. Own. Words. So you're saying he couldn't say no to his advisors about shelling out $20 million, but he ignored their instruction to stop telling people he sleeps in the same bed as unrelated little boys? I don't buy it.

His insurance company paid out the monies - Michael was against it but insurance paid it out anyway.

Is this is the same 13 year old who retracted his story?

Oooooohhhhhh. So he just stuck it to the insurance company. Then everyone else's rates went up. That's cool. [/sarcasm] I'd like to see proof that an insurance company actually shelled out 20 million bones. Considering ins co's demand proof for all claims, I'd say that probably solidifies Michael's guilt.

I'm not sure about someone recanting however, with the kid with cancer, he never wanted to prosecute. His dad was the one who heard his boy talking about he & Michael showing each other their penises. It's not uncommon for a child to try to take back the truth once they realize the firestorm. Kids tend to blame themselves when adults fail, so it's not unheard of for a molestation victim to go back and say, "Never mind. I was wrong." It also would not be unheard of for someone to "suddenly retract" after being paid $20 million. I suspect that's probably a condition of the huge payoff. Wouldn't you suspect that?

Michael didn't want to go that route but he did have to sign off on it, but in it, it states this no way means he's admitting he molested children.

The parents were money hungry, simple as that, imo. as was everyone else in Michael's life. Most definately, to shut them up and to sign a contract that they will never be able to incriminate him or anyone associated with him ever again.

I will have to post the youtube clip when I get home, can't do it from work....

    How do you know this?

And why would the insurance company pay out 20 million dollars (perhaps twice) if there was no proof he molested anyone?
