President Obama's town hall meeting on health care delivered a sickly rating Wednesday evening.

The one-hour ABC News special "Primetime: Questions for the President: Prescription for America" (4.7 million viewers, 1.1 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) had the fewest viewers in the 10 p.m. hour. The special tied some 8 p.m. comedy repeats as the lowest-rated program on a major broadcast network.

No one wanted to watch the propaganda special. I think this probably hurt O's feelings that he was basically ignored by America.

It's like watching sausage being made

I'll guess that people knew it was just that - propaganda - and didn't feel the need to be insulted.

I expect people didn't watch because they knew it would be boring, not out of mass rejection of the Obama health care plan. Dream on.

Who said it was out of mass rejection?

What makes you think it hurt his feelings?

Even I, an Obama supporter, didn't care enough to go back and watch the taped version I had saved on my DVR (I fell asleep watching it both nights ;)).

You weren't missing much.

A bunch of loaded questions answered by Obama.

It might turn out to be a blessing in desguise for PBO. If no one watched, then no one caught this little gem.

Dr. Orrin Devinsky, a neurologist and researcher at the New York University Langone Medical Center, said that elites often propose health care solutions that limit options for the general public, secure in the knowledge that if they or their loves ones get sick, they will be able to afford the best care available, even if it’s not provided by insurance.

Devinsky asked the president pointedly if he would be willing to promise that he wouldn’t seek such extraordinary help for his wife or daughters if they became sick and the public plan he’s proposing limited the tests or treatment they can get.

The president refused to make such a pledge, though he allowed that if “it’s my family member, if it’s my wife, if it’s my children, if it’s my grandmother, I always want them to get the very best care.["]

Have you guys seen the Kennedy Bill yet?

He exempts Congress from this plan.....lol.

Couldnt ask for a bigger "See I told ya so!"

Put Obama's answer jsut above into that mix and we can all see just how wonderful this idea is.

Um, it came on last night did it not? How could you have fallen asleep "both nights" when it was broadcast last night only?

Did I miss something here?

It is funny how conservatives forget. Fox News had all access to the White House for 8 years plus even produced 2 "documentaries" from there and they are now pissy over ABC getting access... hypocrites.

How quickly they forget about Jeff Gannon.

ABC is now the All Barack Channel

You can count on much higher taxes if Obama gets his way not only on health care but for the Energy Draining Bill that comes up for a vote Friday the 26th. They claim we need to save people with health care and the earth with this stupid Bill that will double all electric bills the cost of gas and your heating bills as we actually face colder winters of late. 21 atates set record cold temperatures in the last 12 months. So much for warming.
Health care for a few should not cost the rest of us an arm & leg. Now is the time to contact your reps and tell them no way to all this Obama Granola Liberal nonsense.

Um they were documentaries and were never claimed to be actual news one on Rumsfeld right before he got canned and one on Bush in his last year in office.

Would they have been better placed on the Biography Channel? Probably, but a Biography isn't exactly the same thing as setting up shop in the White House and outright shilling for a Presidential policy objective. This would have been like running a week long special on the Medicare Act of 2003 from inside the White House.

I think she has mistaken this White House special with the 2 night one that NBC did not too long ago.

Jeff Gannon was exposed, and the WH penalized for it. You guys just nod in acceptance of a far more egregious abuse of the Media.
