I'm not saying I am right. I have indicated that there is evidence out there that he used state funds. I'm not saying he did, in fact, use state funds.
I am saying I think he should resign. This is my opinion. If you said, "I don't think he should resign," that is your opinion. Is my opinion the only right one? No.

If you do fall in love with another person, which seems unlikely without some degree of infidelity to begin with, you man up and tell the wife right away.
You go through the divorce process ASAP.
You don't fly off to a foreign country to be with the mistress.
The love angle doesn't get sympathy from me.
That's my view on marriage/commitment.
That being said, the fact that this particular guy had a mistress is none of my business. The fact that he ditched his kids on father's day is none of my business. The existence of these facts are of no bearing on his ability to carry out his job, which is none of my business since it ain't my state.
Since I do know about it, though, I will naturally have an opinion about the behavior, but that opinion was present BEFORE this incident, and really has nothing to do with him or his politics.
If he ran for president, let's say, his infidelity would not be a factor in my vote. His policies would be.
