Frankly, I think he should resign. Not because of the affair but because he lied to the country, and he lied to his state. The changing of his story as to where he was is really offensive. It's one thing to lie to his wife. It's another thing to keep changing your story. Once you have shown that you are not to be trusted, you need to resign.
    Agree completely.

He used state money it appears for his trips. He has caused an embarassment upon the Governorship of his state. He has lied to his constituents. And he has forgone the principles he campaigned upon that helped him get elected.

Its time to at least get back to some of those principles and be accountable and responsible and do the right thing. He should resign and if he does not he should be persona non grata with the Republican Party.

Perhaps you should read the 8 pages and actually respond to people that have already dealt with and spoken about the points you made instead of looking rather ignorant in your outlandish post.

I know I would think twice about joining the democrats if I see those crap time after time.

I don't have a problem with stating something on here that later proves to be inaccurate and admitting that the fact I stated was wrong.
Is this a blog? He posts no evidence to anything and even claims many of the trips were before he met the woman. Also, nowhere does he bother to state the real purpose of the trips, which there obviously was a purpose, the writer is biased.

Do you live in South Carolina?
    Kthnxbai.

Also, he wasn't in contact with anyone so who was changing his story? (Hint: not him)

In any event, and after some thought, I do agree that he should resign. Not because of his affair (which is nobody's business), but because it has affected his work as a governor. He was caught in a lie, and should pay the consequences, let alone the possibility that he might have used tax payer money to fund his trip.

As far as this trip last week, he already stated he payed for it with his own money.

The reason I keep asking this is because you make these statements "He should resign!!!!!!" based off of this scenario with absolutely no idea, only a "guess" that it will affect the way he does his job, and not knowing exactly WHAT he has done for the state. It has little effect on you, so who cares right?
"I condemn the ideology of White Supremacy and Nazism. They are thugs, criminals, and repugnant, and are against what I believe to be "The American Way" "
Thus my obligatory condemnation of White supremacy will now be in every post, lest I be accused of supporting it because I didn't mention it specifically every time I post.

You seem to conveniently ignore the fact that I have stated in every response to your posts in here that if these facts don't prove true, I am willing to concede that they are not true. If I have implied that without a doubt he used state funds for trips to see his girlfriend, then I take that back. It's a possibility that he did, and if he did, he f'ed up. Period.

I don't live in South Carolina. So this means I can't have an opinion as to what the South Carolina governor should do? Really? If that's what you think, then that is YOUR opinion, Caine, and you are certainly entitled to it. To think you should impose your opinion on others is beyond laughable.

I honestly don't care to get into the nitty gritty about his changed story. In my personal opinion, he changed his story and has shown he has no trustworthiness anymore.

    THE END.
