Now we the people... ie: taxpayers in az get to pay to make this person better in the hospital.

So that he can continue on with his life of crime.

If this had happened in the UK, the home owner would be in prison paying for the criminals recovery.

Thats funny, I hospitalized two robbers, Judge Bingham gave me £50 from the public purse, I also got a commendation from the Chief Constable of Mersyside, its the use of reasonable force, after I had immobilized them, I left them for the police, if I had gone on to off them, then I would have been quite rightly charged.
 
Shotgun and only one dead? I guess the second was farther away. Should have used the pistol, the shot probably damaged some of their personal belongings. Oh well, at least one dead! I love when the gene pool is filtered abit.

Nonsense. How do you know these two robbers were there to rob and not kill?


What if there were more than two?


Once they cross the threshold into your home, they are a mortal threat. Act accordingly. (I'd hammer em)

If somebody killed an intruder in my city I don't think the paper or the news would even report it. There'd be some sort of revenge killing.

I suppose people with scanners would know.

You shoot to stop the threat. The best method...two the chest one to the head. Homeowner needs to work on his follow up shots. All in all good show. :mrgreen:

You put a scumbag like this down and you probably save somebody elses life later on. My 870 is loaded with #4.

Exactly. Anyone stupid enough to enter another's home uninvited, especially in the middle of the night, is in effect playing Russian Roulette with their life. Such low life scum deserves whatever he/she gets and should probably be nominated for a Darwin Award.

Doesn't really meet the standards of a Darwin Award IMO. Burglars are just idiots. You have to be a creative idiot to get a Darwin Award (in addition to killing/castrating yourself0.

I would be a little hesitant to mozambuique the guy as the head shot is a small target and with night, penetration concerns, (ie whos behind the wall he is in front of etc, that I most likley stick with an nsr center mass. 3-6 shots depending on how many, and other factors.... Though often a simple hammer is plenty when its +p Hydrashocks from a .45 ;)
