Palin Dodges Talk of Running for Governor Again

 Damn conservatives, can't let Palin go. So much so they can't even form a coherent thought!

I'm starting think there is something to this "scared of her" talk I keep hearing. I have never seen a political figure that the rabid left has been so boner-hard to tear down. It's like she makes them rabid...or more so than they already are. It's actually kind of disturbing...I don't even think they went after Bush the way they go after her.

I don't know if it will happen or not, but I would love to see her as president if for no other reason than to see heads explode all over the forum.

I kinda like her though...cept for her being wrong on almost every issue.

Besides Palin's grand pipeline acheivments what exactly are her other accomplishments that qualify her to be reelected for a second term as Gov NEXT YEAR?

Her state supreme court appointments, her increase of the state public safety, other infrastructure projects she has begun, renegotiation of the oil field leases (forcing the oil companies to either start drilling or give up the leases), her expansion of native incest and rape prevention and education measures.

I'm not sure why you haven't looked these things up yourself if you are so vested in the Alaska gubernatorial race.

How has she increased the states public safety?
Please specify exactly what infrastructure projects that have begun under Palin's watch?
How many and which oil field companies have actually been forced to drill?
How many have been forced by Palin to give up thier leases on oil fields?
So is it only Native Alaskans that have a incest and rape problem?

Again, if you have a vested interest in Alaska's gubernatorial race, research it and then bring me specific points of contention. I'm not snipe hunting for your amusement.

So you come on here and tout those things as her acheivments that qualify her for reelection NEXT YEAR and offer ZERO facts to back those statements up?

Okie Dokie...

You have just as much access to her .gov page as I do.

If you disagree that she has done any of these things, then please feel free to point to why and I will be happy to discuss it with you. However, I don't feel the need to spend my time writing a research paper for you knowing that your kneejerk reaction is going to be dismissing it out of hand.

But, as I said, if you want to show me your points of contention, I will be happy to meet you half way by discussing those with you.

Excuse me Jallman but it was your points of contention that we are trying to discuss here. You touted those as her qualifications for reelection. Surely you know where to dig op the credible verification that backs those points of contention up?

As I said, if you have any disagreement that these are achievements of her administration, bring up your specific points of contention and we can discuss them.

Alaska Gov. Sarah has fueled speculation that she'll seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2012 by declining to say — at least for now — whether she will run for re-election in Alaska next year.

Asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer if she definitely plans to run for re-election, Palin said: "I'm not definitely going to do anything yet.

"What I'm trying to get done for Alaska right now is to get that Alaska [natural] gas line built. We need those energy sources flowing through North America. That's what my focus is. That and raising my family, doing those good things that we need done up there in Alaska. That's my focus."

Blitzer asked: "So, no decision yet on either 2010 or let alone 2012, is that right?

The former GOP vice presidential candidate responded: "No decision that I'd want to announce today."

Running for re-election would be "a move unlikely for someone seeking the White House," CNN observed.

According to the Los Angeles Times, "other Alaskan politicians are positioning themselves for a governor's bid should she drop out."

Asked by Blitzer for her thoughts on President Barack Obama, Palin said she thinks he is "growing government way too quickly."

What does this mean? Does it mean that if she decides to run again that she will go unchallenged? 2010 is only a year away. Why would she not want to make the statement that she is or is not running again?

Is she talking about the same pipeline that she was touting on the campaign trail as one of her major accomplishments in Alaska?
Has the building of this pipeline even started yet?
How can she pay attention to these things when she is squabbleing with a Television comedian?

I'm sure we could. Just like you wanted to discuss how wrong you were by saying that you saw Russia from Kodiak Island........:rofl

I never said "I" did. And that is not an issue in this thread; it is your deflection from having a legitimate discussion.

Which is why I now write you off as irrelevantly trolling and will just leave you to it.

Excuse me..My commentary had everything to do with the linked article.

A legitimate discussion would include you backing up your statements of fact with actual proof.

Which you refuse to do. So who's the Troll?

I didn't say to exclude your commentary from the OP. I said you should differentiate between your personal commentary and the article's in some way, shape, or form. Visually and structurally the two should be distinct. It makes it easier to read your posts.

I see thanks I will do that in the future....:2wave:

Dog, you have jack, stop projecting like you got game.

What specific facts have you provided as if you have anything of value.

HH aside from her amazing acheivments reguarding the success of this pipeline what other acheivments has she accomplished that qualifies her for a second term as Gov?

Specifics please with links. Thanks.

Perhaps with all of the political knowledge and experience that she has gained since McCain led her out has over qualified her for reelection of the Governorship?

I already gave you my opinion about what makes her qualified. If you would like to take exception with them specifically, ask away. But I'm not going to go link mining over a broad, sweeping question. Get specific if you are serious about this discussion. Otherwise, troll another thread.

Go back look at post #32 again.
That was a specific response to your, until proven otherwise, wild ascertions as to what Palin's qualifications are for bing reelected to the governorship NEXT YEAR.

Broad ascertions is what they were and still are.
Until you clarify them with facts.

Until then please stop trolling this thread unless you have something of substance to add.

thanks.
