You know, I think that there is the ideal of marriage, and then there is the reality of marriage. And the fact of the matter, all fairy tales aside, is that marriage is f'ing hard. Brutal, even. And many of us have said, "I will NEVER do that," and then we get a few more years under our belts, and we realize how easy it is to either make a mistake or give up.
I never thought I'd be divorced. But sometimes, you get to a point where you just can't do it anymore. And the ideals that you embraced when you were younger simply aren't attainable.
I don't judge people very much anymore for these sorts of things. Life is a lot harder than we think when we're young. And really, it's none of my business. i said this about clinton, and I say it now. Don't care.
