Are the protests continuing to escalate?

Any indication if elements of the Revolutionary Guard and the Army are joining the protesters?

Are you keeping your head and your behind well away from random flying bullets?

Anti-government protesters appear set to keep up the pressure on the Iranian leadership, with a fifth day of rallies planned.

Keep in mind that it's 11:30 AM in Iran right now (if I did my math correctly), so we should get some more info on that soon.

Rumor control: YouTube isn't deleting videos. Here's their statement and a collection of videos. Some are pretty violent, so beware.

One rumor that's been debunked, it was being spread by Iranian gov't disinformation tweets, is that the army was moving into Tehran. Not true, tracked to a dozen sources.

Several media, NYT, CBS, CNN..... "outed" some of the Iranian tweeters by printing their twitter handles. This rumor is true and when I called the NYT, their response was since it was already on twitter, that it was in the open anyway. Irresponsible.....

Debunked rumor about google maps. You can't see the protesters on the rooftops.

    Amazing day......... Goodnight everyone

BTW, the protest in Peru is pretty calm. The President has backed off, for now. The protesters there are rotating back to their homes so they can count heads and figure out who's missing. The army was getting rid of dead bodies so they're not sure how many were actually dead.

Merely changing the Medusa faces in Iran is no change at all.

Meaningful change can only occur if the governance system that Ayatollah Khomeini installed after the 1979 coup is vanquished and constitutional reforms are instituted.

11 revolutionary Guard commanders have been arrested for not obeying the order to attack some cities like tabriz and shiraz which are going to fall soon.

that's pretty much the thing that ahmadinejad is planning to do. we still should see what is going to happen.opinions differ on these issues.

It's sickening, really. I have to say that the mainstream media is increasingly making itself irrelevant.
