Thus, it is an issue.

Anything the president does is an issue.

At some point, I expect some president in the future to be criticized on the number of times he/she uses the toilet each day. Or something equally inane.

She is referring to partisan hacks who dwell on everything Bush etc. He is no longer in office and has no power which makes him irrelevant to our world for all practical purposes.

He is much like Bill Clinton or Regan etc, an historical footnote.

BTW, when your parent takes you out of school you are not "playing hooky" so the title of this article should be changed.

I never got a chance to play hooky. My school system did a good job convincing me that if I missed a day of school my future would be the equivalent of a knobby Hobo.
