Profiling is not about looking for ONE thing. The Ron Paul sticker was over reaching IMO. His supporters, though vocal about the abuses of government, don't strike me as violent at all. But I'm not privy to all the DHS intell. Neither are you.

Yes, I have noticed that, particularly re the faux 'Peace Left' and self-styled 'Progressives'. They like to denounce isolated random instances like this museum shooting while out of the other side of their mouths rabidly supporting mass murderers attacking Jews in the ME and incessantly demanding that Israel accept absurd policies and agreements that will lead to their genocide at the hands of terrorists and violent bigots. The antisemitism on the 'New Left' is just as virulent and disgusting, and far more widespread; leftist antisemites far outnumber the tiny almost non-existent neo-Nazi Third Positionists. I see little difference between the two in actual practice, and the 'Left' has aided and abetted the deaths of far more Jews and Christian Arabs than the local skinheads will ever manage to harm.

I guess they think nobody notices this sort of cognitive dissonance. I'll take the 'New Left' seriously whenever it decides to lose all those fashionable 60's memes they got from the Soviet Union's propaganda campaigns and take responsibility for making using children as human shields a wildly popular tactic with the terrorist gangs in Gaza and the West Bank for the last 40 years, which is a far bigger problem than random violence from senile old cranks in the U.S.

Actually, it is called Krystal Nacht. There is also a very good book with the same title that people should read to find out just what happened during that time. Atrocious and outrageous, it was.
 
Actions such as this can only serve to further alienate the GOP's "right wing" faction in the eyes of civilized Americans. Although the GOP, per say, may not be responsible for it's followers' actions, the fact that the GOP continues to kow tow to the far-right (especially the religious right) says it all.

I would think the same could be said for abortion-rights opponents and their ilk.

lol um the GOP does not kowtow to white power organizations who can't even be properly labeled as right wing within the framework of the American political system anyways. And just what the hell do evangelicals have to do with the white power kooks? In fact it's leftist folks like Noam Chomsky who pal around with white nationalists these days, of course you won't read about that in America (he's smart enough to only mingle with foreign Nazi's in France).
 
It's good to see that an issue like this brought out our resident hyperpartisans on the left and the right. This is not a partisan issue...and anyone who makes it so is just a hack themselves. Von Brun does not, in any way, represent conservatives, or at least mainstream ones. Anyone who makes that claim is just using their own hyperpartisan bias to try to score some points...of which they are scoring none.

As far as the issue at hand, goes, this is just more evidence that no matter how much we may want to pretend that it doesn't exists, antisemitism, and racism in general still has a hold on some folks.

Does anyone else see what ties the three recent atrocities?
(the doctor killer, the muslim convert killer, and now the holocaust museum killer)

All three killers latched on to some form of religious extremism.
